🐾 A Note From the Owner 🐾
Many of you have trusted The Good Dog Groomery and Unleashed Boarding Suites with your pets for years, but I wanted to take a moment to officially introduce myself as the new owner.
In October of 2025, I was blessed with the opportunity to take over ownership of The Good Dog Groomery and Unleashed Boarding Suites. While many of you already know me, I wanted to share a little about my journey and how much this community means to me.
Washington Court House has always been home. I graduated from Miami Trace High School before continuing my education and athletic career at Kentucky Wesleyan College, where I spent four years playing collegiate basketball. I then completed my fifth year of eligibility while earning my Business degree from The University of Texas at Tyler.
Throughout my life, I've always had two passions: animals and leadership . When the opportunity came along to combine both of those passions into one career, I knew it was something special.
The transition from being a full-time student-athlete to entering the business world was not an easy one. For so many years, basketball shaped my identity, my schedule, and my goals. Stepping away from that chapter was challenging, but watching this business grow and succeed has been a blessing greater than I could have imagined.
The most rewarding part of this journey has been the relationships I've built along the way. Getting to know your pets, celebrating their personalities, earning their trust, and connecting with the families who love them has made every challenge worthwhile. The support, encouragement, and kindness shown by this community throughout the ownership transition has meant more to me than words can express.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me, trusted me with their pets, recommended us to friends and family, shared our posts, and cheered us on over the past several months. Your support has allowed us to continue growing and improving every day.
As we move forward, my goal remains simple: to provide exceptional care, build lasting relationships, and create a place where every pet is treated like family. We have exciting things planned for the future, and I cannot wait to continue growing alongside this amazing community.
