Thank you to the 4H Volunteers, who spent their Sunday with us planting flowers and working on the birdbaths. They did a phenomenal job! What a polite, hardworking group of kids; parents and chaperones. Special thanks to Ruth Thraen for organizing this.
They did a beautiful job planting flowers at our Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial site dedicated to all the animals who have passed. This Memorial site is in honor of AWS founders, Cass Clark and Tina Weimar. We also dedicate it to Kathi Weimar, who wanted to see this memorial for the founders created. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾

It all started with a two week adventure which turned into a forever home for Snoopy.❤️ After spending years at the shelter, In 2021, Snoopy was adopted by the best dog dad who understood and loved our Snoop Dog. Snoopy adored his dad and the feeling was quite mutual. For years Snoopy lived the beach life filled with love; fun; walks; girlfriends; visiting stores; pup cups but most importantly he got to spend his life with a very special man, who gave him a second chance at happy life. As the years passed, and Snoopy was feeling his age, his dad would carry him to the beach because Snoopy loved it there.
We recently received news that Snoopy passed away. This is a tribute to him. We celebrate Snoopy and the amazing dog he was/is.. Rest easy now Snoopy Doop. Fly high with the Angels and may you watch over your dad until you see each other again. Thank you to his dad for giving Snoopy such an awesome life. For that we are eternally grateful and we love you both. ❤️🐾

Katerina (Kat) is so sad and cries desperately missing her previous life. She is a young and healthy 14 yr. old (acts like she is 3-5); housebroken and up to date on vaccinations. Meet sweet Bonnie.🐾❤️ She was surrendered this evening by the only family she has ever known. Her family did everything they could to keep her but housing was the issue. She is a 9 years young. After two years of being with us, Sage has finally found her forever family. ❤️🐾 Sage really didn't want her picture taken but we were able to get her to stay still just for a moment. LOL! Who can blame her, she was ready to leave for her forever home. Wishing you a long, healthy and happy life Sage. ❤️🐾🐾
