Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital Welcome to Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital! We offer high-quality veterinary medical services for your furry family members.

Patients are seen by appointment only, five days each week. Call us to set up an appointment today! Dr. Melinda Knight has been practicing companion animal medicine since 1988, when she graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She currently lives in Thibodaux, with her husband, three wonderful children, and her pets. Tina and Holly, our receptionists, will offer you a smiling face when you walk through the door, and will gladly assist you in making appointments or delivering messages to the veterinarians. Please call them if you need anything! Our veterinary assistants Madison, Anita, Cara, and Kaylynn will take care of your pets from the moment they walk into the exam room, until the moment they leave with you. They will walk, feed, and play with your pet while you are gone, and will answer any questions you have about any treatments or medications prescribed to your pet. Please feel free to ask them for assistance at any time!

🐾 Behind every busy day at Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital are wonderful veterinary assistants who give so much of themselves to our patients!

From lending a helping hand to offering a gentle touch, cleaning up messes, and keeping things moving, their hard work and compassion make a difference every day. ❤️

Of course, our kitty assistants deserve a little credit, too—supervising, inspecting, and reminding us who’s really in charge! 🐱👑

And between all the caring and hard work, sometimes we just have to have a little fun! Laughter is part of what keeps our team going. Thank you to our crew, two-legged and four-pawed, for all you do!
Anita, Cara, Madison, Jaden, Kaitlyn, PooDoo, Cole, Mango, and Toast🐾💙
