Ashley Martinez's Soapy Paws Grooming Going out on my own grooming! Planning on having my salon up and running soon! I have 11 years dog grooming experience! 🐾🖤

Unfortunately, due to recent events, I will no longer be accepting NEW clients with dogs that have a history of aggression, fear biting, or behavior that makes grooming unsafe or unmanageable. This may include dogs that have bitten or attempted to bite, cannot be safely handled, or become highly distressed or difficult to groom despite reasonable accommodations.

Being bitten has resulted in me being out of work for over a week, and as a small business owner, grooming is my livelihood. I love what I do and care deeply about the dogs I work with, but I also have to prioritize my safety and ability to continue working.

If you have questions about whether your dog may be a good fit, please contact me before booking. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s temperament, grooming history, and any concerns so we can determine whether I can safely provide services.

Thank you for understanding and respecting this decision. My goal is to continue providing safe, quality grooming services for all my clients while protecting my health and well-being. ❤️🐾

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, I have to reschedule all grooming appointments for this week. I was bitten by a dog last week, and the wound has become infected instead of healing. I need to get it taken care of and wait until I’m medically cleared to return to grooming. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Soapy Paws Update: If my back doesn’t improve by tomorrow, I’ll be taking Friday off to see my doctor. I’m dealing with a pinched nerve, and grooming has become very difficult and painful. I’ll keep everyone updated. Thank you for understanding! ❤️

My clients for Thursday and Friday please bare with me. I will be working slower than normal. I pinched a nerve in my back today and the pain is something fierce. No I'm not cancelling I'll just be slow moving and may take a little longer grooming your pup.

Please remember that a no-show/no-call fee is required before you can schedule another grooming appointment in the future.

As I’ve mentioned in the past, I book my days based on my clients’ scheduled appointments. When you don’t show up and don’t provide notice, I’m unable to fill that appointment time with another client. This means I lose out on both the time and income for that day.

I completely understand that things can come up unexpectedly, but I do require advance notice whenever possible. Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and business.
