Hello! My name is Sabran. I'm a cute little lady who is a little over a year and a half old. Right now I'm living at the shelter with my puppies, but I'll be available for adoption once they are weaned in June. I can be a little timid at first, but I warm up so quickly and am such a sweet dog. I'm about 30-35 pounds, so I'm pretty petite. I am part Blue Heeler, but I'm certainly not as high strung and hyper as one! I think I got more of the Boston Terrier personality. Older kids would be okay with me, but I might be a bit too shy for littles. If you are looking for a young, smaller dog, please come and meet me!

My name is Shark Bait, and I'm a shy girl who needs a very patient home who understands that it will take time for me to come out of my shell. I would do best in an adult only home that is calmer, but has another dog friend for me to spend my time with. Barnum is such a helpful man! Our staff member was going through to see what paint was still good and he so kindly helped sort them out. Such a good boy! Soon we will be ready to have our critters make more paintings.

*We use non-toxic paint for pet paintings and supervise the whole time.

Russell is enjoying a new fish toy! These and lots of other fun catnip toys are available to buy at the shelter when we are open as well as lots of events coming up, including the Houghton Farmer's Market.

*If toys start to show wear or fray, they should be removed immediately to prevent cats from eating string. Toys made from yarn should be supervised while being used.
