We wanted to reach out and thank everyone for the heartfelt messages and support for Dr. Dawson. He has received every message and is very appreciative for all the kind words. His surgery did go well and as of Friday he has been home recovering. As doctor continues to navigate thru his medical journey, we ask for continued support and patience. The hospital does not have a set date for his return. We still are seeing established patients for tech appointments, medication refills and have food/supplies in stock if needed. Please feel free to call if you have any questions. Again, your support and encouragement are deeply valued. We will continue to give updates as we know more.

Dr. Dawson has chosen the color purple to show solidarity with his South Shore family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. This will help unify the strength and courage he will need for his surgery. We are asking the community to join us & band together to show support by wearing the color purple tomorrow (Wednesday).

To all of our valued clients, we wanted to reach out to inform you that Dr. Dawson had a medical emergency last week and is having surgery Wednesday, June 3rd. Without having the doctor at the hospital we are unable to see patients at this time for any exams or surgeries. We will have a technician in the hospital if your pet needs a service that does not require the doctor.
Services would include: nail trims, ear cleanings, cytopoint, librela, solensia, depo injections, expressing a**l glands, and bordatella vaccines. If Dr. Dawson has seen your pet within a year we can refill medications and preventatives. Food is also available to pickup during our business hours which will now be Monday thru Friday 8:30-4pm. Surrounding vets are aware of Dr. Dawson's situation and are willing to take on new patients so that your pet does not go without the care that it needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our hospital. Once Dr. Dawson is in recovery and we know more information we will keep you all updated. Thank you for your understanding!
