An adult American alligator can have 74–80 teeth in its mouth at any given time—and may go through 2,000–3,000 teeth in a lifetime! 😲

Even cooler? New teeth grow directly underneath the old ones, creating a nested, hollow-cone structure. So when an old tooth falls out, a fresh one is already waiting to take its place! 🐊🦷

Petunia lived to be an incredible 60 years old, measured 10 feet 2 inches long, and weighed a whopping 585 pounds! 🐊👑
