After some time away, I wanted to share a little update on the rabbitry.
Since June 2025, I’ve been inactive while making some major changes behind the scenes including moving to a new place and building a brand new rabbit barn for our 2026 season.
This past year has not been easy for me. I’ve experienced significant losses throughout 2025, as well as the heartbreaking loss of several litters earlier this year. Those setbacks played a major role in my decision to step back, reevaluate, and improve every aspect of our setup moving forward.
Our new facility is being designed with our rabbits’ health, comfort, and enrichment in mind:
• Outdoor barn setup
• Industrial fans for summer airflow
• Controlled winter environment to protect from cold wind and harsh weather
• Running/play pens for exercise, stimulation, and enrichment
• Interior barn space dedicated to feed storage, a posing/photo area, and quarantine housing when needed
These improvements will allow us to provide an even better environment for our rabbits and their babies.
And with this expansion comes exciting news…
Holland Lops will no longer be the only breed we house in 2026 👀
