After further planning and research, we’ve decided to make a few improvements to the original design. Instead of an open air barn setup, the rabbit barn will now be fully enclosed and insulated to provide better temperature control year round. With that being said we had to move the location of the building!

We’re also adding an air conditioning unit to help keep the rabbits comfortable during our hot Kentucky summers, while the insulation will help maintain a more stable environment through every season.

Our goal has always been to provide the best possible care, comfort, and safety for our rabbits, and these changes will help us do exactly that.

We’re excited to keep sharing progress as the barn comes together and can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new setup in 2026!

After some time away, I wanted to share a little update on the rabbitry.

Since June 2025, I’ve been inactive while making some major changes behind the scenes including moving to a new place and building a brand new rabbit barn for our 2026 season.

This past year has not been easy for me. I’ve experienced significant losses throughout 2025, as well as the heartbreaking loss of several litters earlier this year. Those setbacks played a major role in my decision to step back, reevaluate, and improve every aspect of our setup moving forward.

Our new facility is being designed with our rabbits’ health, comfort, and enrichment in mind:
• Outdoor barn setup
• Industrial fans for summer airflow
• Controlled winter environment to protect from cold wind and harsh weather
• Running/play pens for exercise, stimulation, and enrichment
• Interior barn space dedicated to feed storage, a posing/photo area, and quarantine housing when needed

These improvements will allow us to provide an even better environment for our rabbits and their babies.

And with this expansion comes exciting news…
Holland Lops will no longer be the only breed we house in 2026 👀

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me through the highs and lows. I am excited for this fresh start and can’t wait to share what’s ahead. 🫶

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry l've been MIA, I am not sure if I even had a good reason to not post for awhile. However, I have been taking time to downsize my herd which was not an easy decision but the best decision for myself and the rabbits.

When I first stepped back, I truly thought I wanted to fully get out of rabbits. I was burnt out, overwhelmed, and felt like I needed a clean break. So I started downsizing my herd, thinking it was the right path forward. But during that process, something shifted. I realized I don't have to walk away completely-I just need to find a more manageable balance that fits my new life. It turns out I still love this, I just needed to approach it in a way that feels right for me.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, and the ones who mentor me during this process. From the bottom of my heart I truly appreciate all of the support! We have big things coming!💗
