A Paws Up Doggy Daycare update....i am so sorry I have to do this! This time of year is crazy busy with dog boarding. Our numbers have grown over the past few days. We have
Over 30 boarding and we will nit have any kennels available on Thursday for daycare rest-time! We will have a few available for Tuesday but not enough. Yes, we do have the inside play areas to use, however there are some storms and rain coming. The only way to have daycare is to just put all the daycare dogs in the inside play areas and not do a rest-time. We can't leave the dogs out all day with it being 89 degrees so therefore if it rains we will have 60 dogs inside with daycare and boarding. I am just not sure how this would go with so many separate boarding situations. So, daycare will be closed this week. I am so so so sorry to do this. I really hate doing this but I think it is best for all involved. We will see you next week. I hope you all understand!!

A new update from Paws Up. There has been a change in my surgery date!! The first few weeks of July are busy so I pushed my surgery back. Since I stopped doing PT it is feeling much better so I am able to wait to get it done. My knee surgery is now July 25, 2025. So the new closing dates for Doggy Daycare are July 29th and July 31st. So, Daycare will not be closed July 8th and 10th now. Thank you!!

An update from Paws Up Doggy Daycare and Boarding...not an update i am happy to give but it is what it is! I have to have another knee surgery. There is another tear to the medial meniscus, sadly. I had to come back to work full-time before my healing knee was ready and somehow I reinjured some stuff! I have no idea how but I did! I am so thankful to now know that this surgery will be much less invasive than the first and I will be weight bearing as tolerated within a week after the surgery IF all goes well. With this being said, DAYCARE will be closed the week of July 8th! My surgery is on July 8th. We are not canceling any of the Boarding. Kaleb will be able to help out that week with the Boarding dogs (thankful)! So sorry for any inconveniences! I hope i get my knee back after this one my goodness. Thank you all for understanding and I will update this post as need!

Good Evening...A Paws Up Daycare update for this week. I have had a few doggy parents concerned about the heat advisory for the next two days. It will 95 tomorrow and Tuesday. We do have the inside play areas with central air-conditioning, as well as several large pools,however the dogs will still have to go out often to go potty. I get worried about their paws due to all the gravel. We do have grass but the dogs have to go through the gravel to get to the large play yard! A few have already canceled or switched to Thursday. With this being said, daycare will be canceled this Tuesday. We will see everyone Thursday ❤️ 😃!

Good Morning from Paws Up Doggy Daycare and Boarding! We are hoping for a 🌞 day!
I just wanted to give an update on some closing dates for this fall!! I have never completely closed my facility. However, I will be this year and every year thereafter so I can actually have some comfortable time away without the stress and worry of what is going on at my facility. I have not been further than the finger lakes since I opened my facility. LIFE IS SHORT!!!!!! So, with this being said we will be closed DAYCARE AND BOARDING from September 9th, 2025 through September 22nd, 2025. We will reopen on Tuesday September 23rd, 2025. I apologize for any inconveniences. Thank you in advance for understanding!!

An update from Paws Up about Daycare going forward. Daycare will reopen next week however, we will be going down to Tuesday and Thursdays only!! Unfortunately, I have had quite a set back with my knee that I had surgery on in November! Due to unfortunate circumstances I had no choice but to come back full-time way before my knee was ready! I am starting back at the basics Unfortunately. I will have to go back to PT 2x a week. At this point I am not sure if it is reinjured or just severely inflamed due to overuse. Time will tell and the doctor will do tests accordingly! Very upset. Everything went so well up to this point so i am just praying this can all be corrected without another surgery!
Wednesday Daycare is becoming a very slow day and will become even slower once school is out for the summer.
I will be reaching out to the families that bring their dogs on Wednesday's to hopefully reschedule for Tuesday or Thursday. I can't have them all go to on day or the other. We will have to split half to each of the two days. I apologize for any inconveniences. I need to do what is best for myself and my facility at this time!! Ty ❤️
