The best part about getting older? Knowing exactly what matters! ✨

For Lola, it’s simple: plenty of affection, a game of fetch, a little cheese, good dog friends, and making the most of every day.

At 8 years young, Lola is a social butterfly who loves being part of the action. She adores spending time with people and enjoys the company of other dogs, having done well with canine pals of all sizes and ages.

And don’t let her age fool you—this golden girl still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves playdates, has the spunkiest full-body wiggles, and is always happy to head out on walks with her friends. She’s respectful around other dogs, and the way she gently takes treats is enough to melt anyone’s heart.

No puppy chaos. No wild phases to grow out of. Just a loving lady who’s ready to be your sidekick for all of life’s little adventures.

🤍Foster (or Adopter) Needed for Willow🤍

Willow is having a hard time.

At 4 years old, this snuggly, social chocolate Lab spent her entire life with one family and recently came to Baypath through no fault of her own. Home is all she has ever known, and shelter life has been a big adjustment.

Willow absolutely adores people. She is a social butterfly who never turns down affection and would happily spend all day by your side. She loves carrying around her favorite stuffed toys, enjoys leisurely walks, and isn’t asking for an action-packed lifestyle—just a chance to finally relax and be someone’s beloved dog.

Willow’s world has been very small. She spent much of her life in a crate and had very little exposure to everyday experiences. She’s never been on a car ride and is still learning that new things can be safe. She’ll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence at her own pace.

Right now, the shelter environment is overwhelming for her, and we know she would benefit tremendously from a foster home while she waits for her forever family—or even better, a home to officially call her own. While she previously lived with another dog, Willow would be happiest as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Despite everything she has been through, she remains incredibly trusting, affectionate, and eager to connect with people. She has so much love to give and deserves the chance to experience the simple things she’s missed out on. She loves people and has done well meeting people of all ages, including children.

**Puppy Fosters (and Adopters!) Needed!**

We are looking for foster homes for Daffy and her littermates while they wait for their forever families. With the heat and limited indoor space for socialization at our current shelter, a foster home can make a huge difference in helping these pups continue to learn, grow, and experience life outside the shelter.

✅ Ready for adoption
✅ Spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines
✅ Great with kids
✅ Can be fostered individually or in pairs
✅ Happy to join a home with other friendly dogs

Even a short-term foster placement would be incredibly helpful!

Fostering gives these puppies a chance to relax, build confidence, and enjoy the comforts of home while they wait for adopters. Baypath provides support every step of the way.

If you're tidying up your home and come across extra beach towels, spare sheets, or blankets, we would be so grateful for the donation!

✨Kingston = Small Dog + Big Feelings ✨

New people can be a little scary at first for this handsome guy, but give him some patience, a few tasty treats, and a friendly canine buddy, and you’ll quickly see his sweet personality shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Kingston is more than happy to climb right into your lap for cuddles.

Other dogs help Kingston feel confident, and he’s looking for a home with a friendly canine companion who can show him the ropes and help him continue to blossom. He’s food motivated, eager to learn, and making progress every day.

Kingston is searching for a patient teen-and-up home that will celebrate the little victories, cheer him on as he builds confidence, and give him the chance to discover just how wonderful life can be.

Look at this glowing boy! ✨ Richie spent Sunday afternoon exploring Hopkinton State Park and visiting making friends everywhere he went. He was calm in the car, enjoyed meeting new people, and even showed off some of his skills by practicing sit, down, and paw shake in a busy environment.
One of his favorite parts of the day? Watching the ducks, geese, and goslings by the water! 🦆 He was curious, friendly, and took everything in stride—including a loud motorcycle that didn’t faze him at all.
After a fun-filled adventure, Richie happily settled down and napped on the ride home. 💤
Volunteer Marilyn describes him as “the best boy,” and it’s easy to see why. Richie is ready to bring his sweet personality, good manners, and love of adventure to a family of his own.

As we kick off June, we're celebrating just a few of the incredible young changemakers who have supported Baypath pets through their creativity, compassion, and hard work.

Lizzy & Finn turned a handmade butterfly fundraiser into 121 lbs of pet food and 111 cans of wet food for animals in our care. 🦋

Tia and her Craft Club at Hopkinton High School used their creativity and problem-solving skills to organize a fundraiser supporting Baypath’s mission. 🧶

These are just two examples of the many young people in our community who are making a difference for animals every day. Thank you to all of the students, scouts, clubs, families, and future animal advocates who support Baypath.

Scooter is officially ready for adoption — and he’d love to meet you tomorrow! 💜

This sweet senior Chihuahua mix is one of many new arrivals who are now ready to start their next chapter.

Scooter spent much of his life living in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions alongside more than 100 other dogs. Despite everything he’s been through, Scooter hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. This little guy is a true social butterfly who loves meeting new people, making friends, and soaking up attention wherever he goes. His happy personality and spunky zoomies are sure to win you over in no time.

Scooter is ready to show you just how special senior dogs can be!

Stop by tomorrow for Monday open hours, 12-3, and meet Scooter — he can’t wait to see you!
