🦩What the FLOCK?!🦩

Our local high school’s upcoming senior class has “flocked” us! What a fun way to start our morning! Our clients, patients, and staff have all had a giggle over our new flock of critters.

Now the fun part…who’s next? 😏

It’s going to be a warm week! 🥵☀️🔥

Please be sure you and your pets follow appropriate precautions to prevent heat-related injuries and illnesses!

🌞🔥 HEAT WARNING THIS WEEK! 🔥🌞

🐾 The Four Legged Ranch wants to remind everyone to help keep ALL pets safe during this extreme heat! Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, every animal is at risk when temperatures soar.

💧 Heat Safety Tips:
🐶 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🏡 Keep pets indoors whenever possible or provide shaded, well-ventilated areas.
🌅 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler.
🐾 Check the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds—if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws.
🚗 Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle. Even with the windows cracked, temperatures can become deadly within minutes.
⚠️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, weakness, bright red gums, confusion, or collapse.

If you notice these signs, seek veterinary care immediately.
🐰 Don't forget about rabbits, birds, reptiles, livestock, and other small animals—they also need extra shade, cool water, and airflow during hot weather.

❤️ This is also a great time to check on elderly neighbors, outdoor pets, and community animals. A bowl of fresh water or a little extra kindness can truly save a life.

📸 Hobbes & Creed want to remind everyone:
"If you're hot, we're hot!" 🐾

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and help us protect our four-legged friends this week! ❤️

🎉Exciting news! We’re opening our own online pharmacy!

💊The pharmacy launches tomorrow Monday 5/4/26

📪The best thing about it? It ships directly to your home. You can even set up convenient auto shipping for recurring prescriptions!

⚠️We will no longer be using online pharmacies like Chewy, Allivet, PetRx, Costco, etc. once we get all of the kinks worked out with the new store. A $12 Pharmacy Fee will be charged if you prefer to continue using one of the other online retailers or physical pharmacies, as it takes staff much longer to approve your orders. The fee does not apply to medications that are not available on our store or in our clinic.

Emails were sent out to those who have emails on file last week that contains the link and more information. Please contact the office if you wish to add an email to your file to receive updates.

It seems to finally be spring time! 🌷☀️
With warmer temperatures being more consistent, it unfortunately brings the bugs back out 🥴

For our small animal patients, we recommend using year-round preventatives. Our office offers many different options as far as chewable tablets, and we now carry two different injectable products for 12 months of protection at a time for fleas/ticks and heartworm! Any kind of preventative requires a VCPR (Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship) to have been established within the last 12 months.

For our small ruminant patients, Dr. Ludlam was kind enough to share the MSU information so we could pass it along! We do not currently carry any large animal products, but our sister clinic, Pickle Street Veterinary Services has a wide variety of products!

Call our office to schedule your pet’s spring time exam to keep them protected from the bugs! 🐜

We are experiencing internet and phone issues this morning. We are actively working on remedying the issue, but please be patient with us as we continue to work through the issue.

Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!

This week, we celebrate our Veterinary Technicians — the superheroes of our day with the biggest hearts! 🖤🐾

From calming nervous pets to assisting in surgeries, running diagnostics, assisting in appointments, keeping our doctors in line 😉 and offering endless compassion. Behind every wagging tail, happy purr, and healed paw stands a Vet Tech or Vet Assistant. ❤️‍🩹

We simply could not do our jobs without them!💪 We are incredibly lucky and grateful for these ladies, and their tireless work in the clinic!

Please help us thank them a little extra this week (and every week!) 🐶🐱
