GOV BALL NYC

First festival of a very busy Summer & Sawyer’s first one ever! Long hours, hot weather and great dogs. My dogs are getting a groove learning mobile odor (that odor can be on people) and I am so incredibly impressed how that really all came together for them this weekend. Nothing makes me happy being dragged around by my dog while checking passing bags😂 looking forward to more fun jobs with great coworkers and more learning opportunities for these two!

Although we werent able to get cutest photos in front of the gov ball signs, we still showed up and showed out🫡

Its official, all 3 of the working pups are Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titled (Elroy did this when he was a pup😉). Its a little win that means a lot to me and I am so proud of them. Especially my wild child, Sawyer😅. Its the first baby step towards getting Stevie and Sawyer into more titling☺️ Next up, aiming for some trick dog titles and FASTCAT!

Looking for a fun new activity to enjoy with your dog? Come try Scent Work!

This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for dogs and handlers with no prior experience. The only requirement is that your dog has a high motivation for food, treats, or toys.

Scent Work is not only a fantastic bonding activity, but it’s also incredibly mentally enriching and genetically fulfilling for your dog.

During this 2-hour workshop, you’ll:
• Discover how your dog responds to searching for their favorite odor
• Learn how to turn scent games into a rewarding hobby
• Get guidance on how to continue practicing outside of class
Every dog is different, so results will vary — but fun and learning are guaranteed!
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $50 per team
