Lets talk behavior in female cats!

Sometimes female cats can present for behavior changes like being more agitated, urinating outside of the litter box, or even just being more vocal. While these can all be signs of different things, one interesting case we see is ovarian cysts! These usually occur leading up to or around a heat cycle, which can also cause behavior changes. The first picture shows a normal uterus, while the second shows a uterus with cysts on both ovaries! If your furry friend is experiencing behavioral changes, it is always important to notify your veterinary team! We’re always happy to help! 🐾🐈🩺
