Sweet Gabby visited UrgentVet when she wasn’t feeling like herself and began refusing her favorite treats. 🐾

Luke recently stopped by UrgentVet Hoover after his family noticed he was limping following a long walk at the park. Sometimes a fun day out can leave our pups feeling a little more sore than expected!

Our team was able to take X-rays to get a closer look and send Luke home with medications to help keep him comfortable and get him back on the mend.

And can we talk about those perfectly crossed paws? Luke was such a handsome gentleman during his visit!

Whether it’s a sudden limp, minor injury, or another unexpected concern, UrgentVet is here to help your pet feel better, faster.

We’re wishing Luke plenty of rest, lots of love, and many more comfortable walks in the park ahead!

Their athletic abilities are impressive, but even expert jumpers can have the occasional misstep.🐾

What’s the most impressive place your cat has managed to jump to? 👀

If your cat suddenly seems reluctant to jump, is limping, or isn’t moving like their usual self, it may be worth a closer look. Changes in mobility can sometimes signal an injury or other health concern.

If your cat needs care for an unexpected injury or illness, UrgentVet is here to help with urgent care when you need it. 💙

Kody recently stopped by UrgentVet Hoover because his family noticed he was dealing with some itchy, irritated skin. When your pet can’t stop scratching, sometimes they need a little help getting that itch under control!

After evaluating the area, our team shaved the hair around Kody’s skin infection and gave the area a thorough cleaning before starting treatment to help clear the infection and get him feeling more comfortable.

Kody was such a good boy for his visit—and judging by that smile, he didn’t let a little itchy skin bring him down!

From itchy skin and ear infections to upset tummies and other unexpected concerns, UrgentVet is here to help your pet feel better, faster.

We’re wishing Kody less scratching, lots of healing, and plenty of happy days ahead!

Did you guess it? The answer is… Rhodesian Ridgeback! 🐾

Fun Fact: Their signature “ridge” is a strip of hair along their back that grows in the opposite direction from the rest of their coat! Pretty paw-some, right? 🐶

At UrgentVet, we love celebrating every pup’s unique traits — big, small, and everything in between. ❤️

Meet Frank! 🐶

This adorable little guy stopped by UrgentVet Hoover after his family noticed he had some itchy ears. Those puppy ears may be cute, but they weren’t feeling their best!

Our team took a closer look and found that Frank had a minor ear infection. We gave his ears a good cleaning and treated him with ear medication to help get him on the mend and back to feeling comfortable!

And, of course, no visit would be complete without modeling an UrgentVet bandana and stealing a few hearts along the way.

Ear scratching, head shaking, redness, or odor can all be signs that your pet’s ears need some attention. When something seems off, UrgentVet is here to help your pet feel better, faster!

We hope those ears are feeling much better soon, Frank! 💙

Sometimes the best part of the day is seeing the world through their eyes. 🐾

For Team Member Marie, one of those moments was spending a little extra time with Clover. Taking a moment to slow down, connect, and build trust can make all the difference, especially when a vet visit feels unfamiliar.

At UrgentVet, we believe caring for pets is about more than treating an illness or injury. It’s about helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. ❤️

Mesmerizing eyes aren’t just cute—they’re incredible tools! 🐱

A cat’s eyes are specially designed to help them see in low light, judge distance, and track movement, making them skilled little hunters. Their unique vision is just one of the many things that makes cats so fascinating. ❤️

At UrgentVet, we love helping pet parents learn more about the pets they love and keeping their furry family members feeling their best.

Swipe to see Rio put his skills to the test. ➡️

During Rio's trip to UrgentVet, our team discovered that Rio has a special talent. And no, it’s not sitting pretty… it’s catching treats like a pro! 🍪

We’d say he’s got this trick in the bag, but he keeps eating the evidence. 👀

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful self—just the way we like to see our patients. 💙

When your pet's timing is a little... ruff, UrgentVet is here to help them get back to feeling their best.
