Calling all cat lovers, crazy cat ladies (or guys😂) or families looking for a furever addition to the family!!!

Once again the cat bat signal was shot in to the air and Hawleywood Acres has been blessed by 6 kittens! 5 from a mama litter and one that randomly showed up at 6:30 in the morning in the front yard🤦🏻‍♀️. Tim says it’s all my fault because they “find” me, but I can’t help that I am Snow White and the critters come talk to me. 😂. (We currently have a “pet” opossum that lives under our front porch and talks to me every night as well🤷🏻‍♀️)

These cutie patooties are about 16 weeks old, except the one that showed up…he’s about a month older than the others. They are VERY socialized and super tame and friendly. Our grandkids play with them so they are used to kids, adults and other cats. They are eating dry kibble very well. Currently on a mix of Purina Kitten Chow and Iams. Everyone is completely litter box trained.

These kittens were born and raised inside, so would prefer they go to indoor homes. They are all very bonded, so if you are looking for some fun, think about a pair!!! Kittens are like shoes and desserts….always better in pairs.😜

We will be out front in the same spot we were at for the farmers market!

We will have farm fresh free range eggs, local raw honey, LOTS of yummy canned goodies, and for the first time, we have our absolutely delish pasture raised all natural pork by the cut available!!!

Who needs their very own fluffy butt nugget maker?!?!?😂 Hawleywood Acres has silkies available now! We have everything from about a week old to a couple of months old. All are being offered as straight run. Mostly whites, blacks and partridge.

Do you have calcium loving plants that are needing a little boost? Hawleywood Acres to the rescue! We use sooooo many of our own farm fresh eggs in our baked goodies and pet treats that we get TONS of eggshells, so we decided to start baking them to “sanitize” them and grind them up to be used for a few things. Here on the farm we feed them back to our little flock of silkie chickens to give them the calcium boost they need for laying eggs. Traditional oyster shell is a bit big for the bantam breeds, so the ground up eggshells added to their feed is the perfect supplement. We also like to give our garden and house plants a little sprinkle of eggshells to boost their calcium as well. We’ve added a list of some the calcium loving plants on the back of the package😉 We will have a few packages available this weekend at our Symphony Pointe bale sale Friday 9/18 and at the Millard Market & BBQ Saturday 9/19, so stop by and grab a package!

We have our local raw honey available now, and will have it with us this Saturday, September 12th at the Millard Market & BBQ!!!

You will want to grab it while you can, “bee-cause” when it’s gone for the year, it’s gone.

We have pints, quarts, and half gallons available, so stop down and see us at the Millard Market & BBQ! We will will also have lots of fresh produce, our ever growing selection of canned goodies, all natural pet treats, some super fun fall craft items, and our “famous” homemade lard crust single serving 6” pies!!!

Hawleywood Acres grew by 4 feet today, or shall we say hooves😂. Meet our new buck! He doesn’t have a name yet, but we are open to suggestions. There is also a video in the comments. He’s a bit of a bawl baby right now as he’s not real happy he had to leave his mama and crew. He won’t be doing “daddy job” for a few months, but we have high hopes for some beautiful babies come this spring♥️

These are half or whole bundles that will be customized to your specifications. All natural dirt raised and perfect for your grill and smoker. Hawleywood Acres is running a great special this weekend!!!! Come down to our tent at Millard Market & BBQ to sign up for a half or whole hog and save $50.00 on a whole and $25.00 on a half!!! This batch goes to the locker the first week of September so it will be ready about 15th of September. This is one of our last batches until 2027. Now is the perfect time to get your freezer stocked for fall and winter!! These are pasture raised, no antibiotics or added hormones, raised with love, kindness and marshmallows.😜You won’t find better pork anywhere. Nice and lean with great flavor!
