Tucker Road Animal Hospital in Hood River offers full veterinary care for all small animal needs throughout the Columbia Gorge. We pride ourselves on clearly communicating your pet’s medical needs and options, and responding in a compassionate manner. All our veterinarians and staff members share your love and passion for animals. Preventive Care Services include: annual health exams, vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing, dietary, arthritis care. Medical care includes diagnostics and treatment, dental care, surgery, digital radiography, and full laboratory. Referral to specialists (Portland/Vancouver area) as needed. We offer free first exams for newly adopted humane shelter animals. It is our policy not to answer pet health questions on Facebook, by email, or over the phone for pets we have not seen. Sometimes our clients share a story that stays with us. 🤍 Earlier this year, we helped Elizabeth say goodbye to her beloved Phoenix, lovingly called Piggy. Recently, she reached out to introduce Juniper—Juni for short—a sweet pup who found her family nine months later and looks so much like the girl they lost.

In Elizabeth’s words, Phoenix “sent me her double in the middle of our healing journey.”

Being trusted with the goodbyes and welcomed into the next chapter means so much to our team. We can’t wait to meet you, Juni. 🐾
