The second one seems like a bit of a stretch, given all of the adorable boutiques in this town, but customer service?!? HECK YEAH! That's where we really shine!

One of the more unexpected aspects of working in a pet supply store is fielding the rollercoaster of emotions that enter the door within an 8 hour day. Today was no exception, with two humans losing human family members to cancer, one human navigating a very sick cat, one incredibly beautiful adoption story (Memphis!) and this special little family with a fresh adoptee named Sage who came up from the streets of California to live the good life in The Gorge. Sometimes all this happens in the span of a few minutes!
It was super sweet to end today on a happy note, with Austin and Jessica adopting Sage almost five months to the day after Austin lost his best dog friend Tuna.

We have watched so many people navigate the profound grief of losing a pet, only to see them a few weeks or months later, beaming with joy over a new furry friend. 🥰
The simple fact is, dogs change our lives. We never know, when we first meet them, the lessons they're going to teach us, but no matter what, we always look back and see clearly, how much we grew because of them.

We're looking forward to seeing sweet Sage grow into a confident, adventurous pup, and to watching Austin open up his big beautiful heart to let in and love his new dog.

🎆 It's that time of year again! 🎆

But don't worry, we have everything you need to support your pets through the 💥snap💥crackle💥POP💥 of the 4th of July.

Get out and exercise early, create a cozy calm environment in your house, play soothing music, prep some "projects" and be sure that everyone is wearing their collar with up to date contact information.

We'll be closed on Saturday the 4th, home with our own pets, so come in this Thursday or Friday to get your calming supplies. And by all means, ask us for recommendations! We have some amazing enrichment projects that will give both you and your pets the ultimate chill vibes. 🧘‍♀️

Little Juniper did some excellent exploration of "the cat side" of the shop! She was particularly interested in our samples of gently cooked cat foods. 😻😻
She started life out a little rough, so we're hoping to boost her immune system in order to clear up her goopy eyes and get her on track for a long healthy life.
Generally though, she's happy and cute and very very courageous!
We're rooting for ya Juniper! 🐈💕
