Here's my take on what Neighborhood Pet Store Day is really all about. ☺️
We tend to go big or go home when it comes to parties, and NPSD is no different. But the point really isn't the party, the point is to support ALL independent pet supply stores, all over the country!
Any indie pet store can participate in NPSD by passing along the manufacturer deals that happen over the weekend. So if you're following along here, why don't you drop the names of some of your favorite indie pet supply stores so the rest of us can go support them too! I love learning about and visiting other pet supply stores, everywhere I go, I find the indie pet supply store, the coffee shop and the CO-OP. Then I know I'm going to be okay. 😂
We can't wait to see you this Saturday, but if you're in a different city this weekend, go find an indie pet supply store and show them some LOVE! ♥️

It's amazing that we're still smiling after unloading 6 pallets of freight! Must be delirium. 😵‍💫

🌟 SAVE THE DATE!!! 🌟
THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR IS JUST 2 WEEKS AWAY!

Saturday, September 26th is Neighborhood Pet Store Day and if you were with us last year, you know we throw a damn good party! 🎉

This year's guest lineup is top notch!

Our dear friend and holistic veterinarian Dr Keith will be with us representing Green Juju, if you haven't yet met Dr Keith, you're in for a treat! Come prepared with questions, he's brilliant!

Kelsie **The Most Amazing Dog Trainer In The Gorge** will have a parrot or two and will most certainly be available for all of your dog training questions.

Wonderful Adam from Firstmate will be talking about the brand and handing out free samples, another delightful human, not to be missed.

Torri, founder of Catscade Locks cat rescue will be talking about TNR in The Gorge, and she might just bring some adoptable kitties!

We all need this next guest, Christina DiRenzo is a top notch pet sitter with years of experience! Make a connection now because she books up fast!

Our dear friend Allie from Polkadog Bakery has loads of free samples and lots of laughs to bring the party to the pet store.
We love her endlessly.

Hood River Adopt A Dog will be in the house, paws crossed they bring an adoptable dog! (Or three!)

Bark-uterie cups are back by popular demand, 2 robust raffle baskets, one for dogs and one for cats will grace the tables. Speaking of tables, we're setting up a super fun enrichment activity in the back room, we'll freeze it while you shop and you can go home with a delicious "Dog Project!"

I can't say enough good things about this day, it's the best made up "holiday" ever, and we can't wait to PARTY with you and your pets!

PS: 20% off all treats and toys PLUS 10% of sales go to our local animal rescues!

Mark your calendar and tell your friends!
