Do you have a kitty that enjoys spending time in the great outdoors? ☀🌿

If so, this vaccine is for them! Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is spread through close contact between cats, such as grooming, sharing food or water bowls, or bite wounds. It weakens the immune system and can lead to serious illness, including anemia, infections, certain cancers, and death.

Not sure if your kitty is due for their booster? We’re here to help! 📞

Parvovirus is one of the most serious, deadly diseases puppies can face.

Parvo is a highly contagious virus that attacks the digestive system and immune system. It can survive in the environment for months, making it easy for unvaccinated dogs to be exposed.

This is one reason why keeping your pup up-to-date on their Distemper-Parvo vaccine (or DHPP/DHLPP) is extremely important!

Prevention is far easier - and much less costly & risky - than treatment. ❤

“But my cat never goes outside…” 🤷‍♂️

Even our indoor kitties need protection against Panleukopenia (feline distemper) - a serious and highly contagious virus that can cause fever, vomiting, diarrhea, severe hydration, and potentially death. It can be carried inside your home by shoes, clothing, etc. Protect your feline family members by keeping their FVRCP vaccine up-to-date.

Fun Fact: The P in FVRCP is for Panleukopenia! 🙂

A little Aloha Kitty TNR Ducky update that makes our hearts so happy! 💚

We were honored to be part of Ducky’s journey through FIP, and seeing this sweet boy’s improvement is the kind of update that reminds us why we love what we do. 🥹🫶🏼

🦆💙 Ducky has graduated! 🎓🐾

If you’ve been following Ducky’s story with Aloha Kitty TNR, you’ll remember just how far this little guy has come. Today, we’re incredibly happy to share a very special update: Ducky had his recheck with Dr. Hsu and officially graduated with his treatment-course-completed diploma! 🎓✨

After 84 days of medication, Ducky has now reached Day 14 of his observation period. That means no more medication — just lots of love, treats, attention, and careful monitoring. 🥹❤️

For the next three months, we’ll be keeping a close eye on him, but today is absolutely a day worth celebrating.

Not too long ago, FIP was considered a death sentence. Thanks to incredible advances in treatment — and the amazing veterinary teams who helped Ducky through the rough start he had to life — his story is very different.

We are so grateful to our wonderful friends at Honolulu Pet Clinic and VCA Pearl City ER for helping Ducky when he needed it most. ❤️

And now? Ducky gets to do what Ducky does best:

🐾 Make biscuits
🍗 Eat treats
😻 Demand attention
💙 Be ridiculously Ducky

Every day, he reminds us exactly why we fought so hard for him.

Here’s to 70 more days of observation and, hopefully, one final update declaring Ducky officially cured! 🎉🐾

Keep those paws crossed for our boy. 🤞💙

🌧 Rainy season = higher Leptospirosis risk!

Leptospirosis is spread through infected urine that contaminates water and soil. It can lead to fever, muscle pain, vomiting, kidney or liver damage, and potentially death.

The good news? It’s preventable with vaccination! If you’ve ever noticed the “L” in your dog’s DHLPP vaccine, that’s the Leptospirosis protection. 😄
