A stunning 70 pound, female dog visited us on Tuesday after experiencing difficulty urinating and blood in her urine—signs commonly associated with a urinary tract infection.

Further evaluation revealed significant inflammation around her bladder. During surgery, on Wednesday, Dr. Opalecky and Dr. Platko discovered and removed six bladder stones. Take a look at the fingertip in the photo for comparison—you can see just how large these stones were!

Her uterus was also moderately enlarged and filled with fluid, so she was successfully spayed during the same procedure. She is now recovering after receiving the care she needed. 🐾❤️
