MonSenior, we both know why “you sisser” and Willow gave you this name-so we shouldn’t play their game- but they will forever remember you and what you gave them.

My Guy, you sure did love your momma. You taught me so much about so many things sweet man, about life, and just how much yours has meant to me, and now just how much mine has been forever changed, all because you chose me, you trusted me and you loved me, ALL without condition.

In your unexpected passing you knew without a doubt that your momma loves you with everything that I had, and you didn’t have to question that love, you knew.

The enormous void you have left behind contains all our greatest adventures and our most beautiful memories.

You will live on with us forever there, and we are all so honored to have loved you and all our time shared.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Employee: Tiger 🐯
Position: Office Kitty / Morale Coordinator / Unlicensed Quality Control Inspector 🕵️
Current Employment Status: On thin ice. And apparently also on the refrigerator shelf.

Management has identified a troubling pattern of workplace misconduct:

1. Attendance & Punctuality ⏰

Earlier this week, Tiger was discovered sleeping in during scheduled business hours. While Tiger maintains that his position requires “up to 18 hours of restorative rest daily,” this accommodation has not been approved by HR.

2. Unauthorized Access to Restricted Areas ⛔️

Today, Tiger was found INSIDE THE EMPLOYEE REFRIGERATOR.
Tiger was not retrieving a lunch.
Tiger did not have permission to enter the refrigerator.

When confronted, Tiger showed no remorse and appeared primarily concerned that management had interrupted his investigation.

3. General Professionalism

Additional concerns include:
- Wandering away from his assigned workstation without notice
- Walking across important documents
- Demanding compensation in treats despite questionable productivity

Performance Review Period - 30 days

Failure to demonstrate improvement may result in additional disciplinary action, up to and including stern talking-tos, removal from the refrigerator, and temporary suspension of Churu privileges.

Unfortunately, termination is unlikely because Tiger has tenure, no one knows exactly who hired him, and management acknowledges that he is extremely cute.

Employee response:
🐾 Tiger declined to sign the PIP and immediately requested to speak with the owner.

Management regrets to report that Tiger believes he is the owner.

Steps 4 & 5: Drying & Processing

After their aquamation cycle is completed, pets' remains are gently transferred to their assigned drying bin and placed in our drying cabinet. For those pets being returned to their families, their metal tag is placed in their bin with them. Each pet is also tracked via their metal tags, our location charting, and in our software system, including any accompanying notes such as saving surgical hardware for pets that have had orthopedic surgery (if family has opted to receive these items back with their pet). The drying phase typically takes 2 days, but can take up to 3-4 days for some pets.

After drying, pets’ remains are processed using specialized equipment. This step transforms remains into the "ash" material, the same as what is received via flame cremation.

Introducing more about how our aquamation aftercare services work!

**Please note there is some technical detail in this post that some may prefer to skip**

Step 3: Aquamation
Our team works diligently to get all pets' aquamation cycles started promptly, both to get family members returned home as soon as possible and to minimize preservation needed. This allows us NOT to use freezing as a method of preservation, something we absolutely would prefer for our own pets as well.

Aquamation is a cremation process (the chemical reaction is alkaline hydrolysis) that uses warm water, gentle flow, and alkaline mineral salts (KOH and NaOH) to break down organic material, similar to the natural breakdown process that happens over months to years in the soil - without the introduction of harmful chemicals from euthanasia medications into the environment. This aquamation process happens over a time period of about 20-24 hours. To highlight the GENTLER energy used in aquamation 💦vs flame 🔥 cremation, with flame cremation cycles are typically 45 minutes - 2 hours, with temperatures reaching 1400-1800 F.

During their cycle, each pet being individually cremated for return to their family is placed into their own chamber in the machine, with their custom metal tag. The chambers are designed to allow water flow but no mixing of remains. Paper charts and computer software are also used for tracking at this step. For those pets being privately cremated, an entire daily cycle is completed with them alone in the machine.
