Pretty Olive is looking for a new home due to an allergy in the family. This black beauty is shy at first, but once she trusts you she is very sweet and loving. She does enjoy being pet, but like many cats prefers not to be picked up. Olive lived with another cat and liked to play with him; she is also excellent at catching mice. ❣ Some dogs communicate so well through their expressions and body language. Dottie is one of those dogs. She came into the shelter before Christmas as a stray and her tail has been tucked in ever since. It's evident she's sad and missing her home. She’s adjusted some but needs to find a new family and home as she is not enjoying her stay at the Chicago Animal Care & Control.

❣Dottie is a total cutie, with big ears and big saucer eyes, that plead ...take me with you! She is well-mannered and knows to sit and stay. She's a total lovebug who loves to be by people and snuggle right up. Whoever lost her must be missing her terribly as she's incredibly sweet.

❣Dottie definitely perks up when she interacts with people and other pups. She needs to find a home asap so she can get out of the shelter alive. She's a smart, special girl with lots of love and affection to give (and get) from her people. Dottie will make an excellent addition to any family. Please don't let the shelter be her end.
