Cat Habitat Inc. - Homewood IL We are a non-profit 501(c)3 no kill cat rescue, partnered with Petco in Homewood. We have found homes for over 1,100 cats during our years at Petco!

Our mission is to prepare homeless cat for their adoptive homes, including medical care, spaying/neutering, nourishing food, socialization and lots of love! The donations we receive through adoptions are used for the care of additional felines. We promote the importance of not only being responsible pet owners, but to encourage others, including younger generations, to become involved in the care and well-being of homeless animals! We are a non-profit, no kill 501(c)3 organization started in 2011. Cats are located at Petco in Homewood or with foster families. Cost of adoptions are $130.00 and include shots to-date, spay or neuter, and microchip. Please FB message, call 708-308-8817 or email [email protected] to set up a time to meet our kitties!

Honeybee (who is available for adoption!) would like to send out a quick reminder from Cat Habitat!

We truly appreciate everyone who reaches out to help cats in need! We’re grateful for the support and for everyone who cares about making a difference, it truly takes a village.

We do ask that you please wait until 9:30 AM or later to call. Our calls go directly to our personal phones, so calls outside of reasonable hours can interrupt our personal time and sleep.

We love helping cats, but even cat people need a little beauty sleep!

Thank you for understanding, respecting our time, and continuing to support Cat Habitat!

Pictured is Honeybee, who is a 2 year old female orange and white, very sweet! She is looking for her furever home. ❤️

Cat Habitat’s next lion king has arrived!

This is Simba, he brings the looks, and the serious fluff to the table.

At just a year old Simba was left behind by his owner when she moved, and has now taken up a temporary throne in foster with Cat Habitat. Simba is looking for his next kingdom who he can count on to keep his throne readily available.

Meet Fancy and Panda!

These two lovely gals were abandoned in a cat carrier on a median by their previous owner. They were saved and taken into foster for a few weeks and came to Cat Habitat yesterday!

Panda is 7 months old and a gorgeous tuxedo! Fancy is 2 years old and has a gorgeous diluted coat. These girls are very bonded and need to go home together. They need a home without other cats but are good with dogs and kids.

Inquire about them today!
