🍖🎪 MCKEESPORT LIONS VENDOR SHOW & RIB FEST 🎪🍖

Ribs, sunshine, and SO many new heroes suited up in fresh gear.

Let’s start with our tech icon of the day, a big brindle beauty rocking the WINDOWS 95 collar like he personally invented the startup chime 💻🔊 We are NOT okay with how perfectly this collar fits his whole “I might crash unexpectedly but you’ll love me anyway” energy.

Then there’s the golden retriever of good decisions, who took one look at our collar wall and said “yes to ALL of it” walking away in BOTH the Bloodline collar AND a Scooby-Doo collar because honestly, why pick just one when you’re clearly the main character of two different franchises 🐕🕵️‍♂️🩸

A sweet little gray pup also joined the Hero roster in a delicate floral collar, looking like she walked straight out of a cottagecore fever dream 🌸

And OF COURSE our mascot struck again. All weekend long, dog after dog did a double take at that stuffed dog just sitting there in his flag bandana, completely convinced he was real. Sniffing him. Staring him down. Refusing to accept the truth. At this point we think he might actually BE magic 🧸✨

Huge thank you to every family who stopped by, tried on gear, and let their pups interrogate our mascot for the hundredth time this season. Y’all made this rib fest one for the books.

🐾🎉 PART 2: BARK IN THE BORO: THE REST OF THE CREW 🎉🐾
Round two of Bark in the Boro because there was WAY too much good stuff to fit in one post.
First, can we talk about Cecil? Cecil sat there like a total professional modeling our Costco-parody collar and honestly gave us better content than half our photoshoots 📦🐕 Someone give this dog a modeling contract.
Then we've got a scruffy white cutie who walked away with a Jurassic Park collar and we are HERE for a dinosaur-adjacent good boy living his best prehistoric life 🦕
And be still our hearts, THREE best friends piled into one stroller, all matching in their new collars, looking like the world's most photogenic carpool 🚗🐾🐾🐾 If that's not peak Hero energy we don't know what is.
Our mascot struck AGAIN! This time on an actual police officer. He walked right up, gave our stuffed pup a full pet and a once over like he was assessing a suspect, fully convinced he was real 👮‍♂️🧸 Once he realized the truth, he made it up to us by bringing his ACTUAL K9 partner by to say hi. A stuffed dog fooled a cop and then a real police dog showed up to save the day. You truly cannot make this up.
So many more good boys and girls stopped by all weekend: tiny pups riding in style on their humans' shoulders, big fluffy floofs soaking up the attention, everyone just having the best time in the sun. This town shows UP for its dogs and we are so grateful to be part of it.

🐾✨ BARK IN THE BORO: GOLDEN HOUR EDITION ✨🐾

If you were downtown this weekend and saw a WALL of golden fur rounding the corner, that wasn’t a mirage, that was the Golden Retriever meetup and parade, and we are still recovering from the sheer volume of good boys and girls in one place.

We’re talking goldens EVERYWHERE. Matching floral bandanas on a mama and mini golden duo trotting side by side like they coordinated outfits on purpose 🌸🐕 A golden in a full purple tutu and bandana looking like she was ready to walk a runway, not a sidewalk. Another rocking his “Senior Golden” bandana with the kind of dignity only a distinguished gray muzzle can pull off. And SO many goldens just casually sniffing, tongues out, tails going, absolutely thriving in their moment of Golden Hour glory.

The parade itself was a fever dream of blonde fur and wagging tails as far as the eye could see: goldens, goldens, and more goldens, all cruising down Main Street together like it was their own personal catwalk 🚶‍♀️🐕🐕🐕

Huge thank you to every golden family who stopped by our booth before or after the parade to grab a new bandana or collar. Y’all know how to make an entrance.

🎪🐾 MURRYSVILLE FARMERS MARKET ARTISAN DAYS 🐾🎪

We are calling this “The Weekend We Did FOUR Events” and buckle up because Round 1 did NOT disappoint.

Let’s start with our new favorite menace: a golden lab puppy who took one look at the treat table NEXT DOOR, decided that was HIS table now, and just full-on climbed it like Simba on Pride Rock 🐕🧗 No shame. No apologies. Just a puppy living his best life reaching for freeze-dried chicken that was not his. He came over to say hi afterward like nothing happened, tried on a collar, and left as a certified Hero. Iconic behavior from start to finish.

Then there’s our sweet senior hero of the day, got fitted with a Mario Bros bandana AND matching collar and wore it like he’d been training for this his whole life 🍄👑 That gray muzzle plus a Mario print? We are OBSESSED. Age is just a number when you’re this stylish.

Of course, our mascot struck again! A black and tan hound absolutely could NOT figure out what was going on with that stuffed dog in the flag bandana. Sniffed him. Stared him down. Still hasn’t blinked. He’s never going to solve this mystery and honestly neither will we 🧸🕵️

And the real magic of these markets? Watching dogs make brand new best friends in real time; nose boops, ear sniffs, one very patient golden mix getting thoroughly inspected by a new pal, tails going a mile a minute. This is what it’s all about 🐾💛

Oh and I also met a frog.
