Time for a Happy Tail! You may recognize this fuzzy pup from back in February when we first introduced him to the shelter. We knew immediately we had to do everything in our power to set him up for a successful life- shower him with love, good treats, and training- lots of training! We are so thankful to so many of you and Rebekah at Little Rose Canine for how far Zane has come. His family has shared a glimpse into his new life and we are so happy to see he has found his furever home! Here is what his family had to say:

"I just wanted to check in and let you all know that Zane is doing SO good! He is such a sweetheart and goofball. All four of us have become quite attached and Zane just fits into our family so well. He is so happy and is much more relaxed. He's had some nervous moments for sure but overall is thriving, it seems. I've done some training with him for walks (he hardly pulled at all during our 2 mile walk yesterday!) and he's gotten much better with car rides. He did great all the way to Cooper Landing...seems he's realized we aren't leaving him...and did his first hike with us. We are so very happy to have Zane and feel he was at the shelter as long as he was just so we could make him a part of our family. ☺️

I also wanted to reach out to say thank you for all the time, effort and love you put into him. I know he's doing so well because of you all and because the community pulled together to get him to Rebekah. It's clear he's had some training and we're able to build off of that. And it's clear he's been loved on because his heart is wide open to accept more.

Thank you for all you do!"
