#1 please keep your pets leashed. Even if your dog is friendly...the one they may come in contact with might not be. I groom a lot of anxious and older dogs and I really don't want to have any dog fights happen!
#2 Please please please clean up after your pets. Please remember that this is my home. My children play in the yard. I don't want to go into too much gross detail on how I visibly know it's not only my own dogs' 💩. However, there are the cameras, also. To be honest I'm shocked at how many don't. If you physically can't please let me know and don't just leave it🙏

Fact #1 Your dog can still get ticks on them if they only go on your grass
Fact #2 ticks aren't only in the woods or on bushes
Fact #3 this is completely avoidable with the proper protection for your pet!
Ticks are out. Fact is they have been since we stopped with the freezing temps. I have seen fleas an ticks within this last couple weeks on dogs.
I also have been in contact with mosquitos! Which means... heartworms! please make sure your beloved pets are protected from all of these pests! Easier and more cost effective to prevent than to treat!

Just about to head in back for her bath. I paused to look at my messages and Minne put herself in the management position today! Unfortunately I can't afford to pay her so it's a volunteer position🤣 in all seriousness she was so nervous when she 1st started coming for grooming. Her dad would have to literally carry her in. She walked in all by herself today! However, no matter how comfortable she gets the blower will NEVER be her friend😜

As some of you know my Blaze had TPLO surgery 6 weeks ago. We still have 2 weeks left of recovery which means no stairs, no running, no chasing squirrels and no other crazy pitbull stuff until the bone is fully healed. The better he feels the longer these weeks are taking. He tries everyday but I finally let him "ride the recliner" up to lay on my lap. "Da momma's baby", Blaze, was quite content if you can't already tell from the photo!😆 He's walking really well, too! If anyone ever needs an orthopedic vet...I highly recommend Veterinary orthopedic center in highland IN! Dr. Gendreau is kind, caring and knowledgeable! They repaired my Katie's knee, too!

Mojo and I had a disagreement on who's in charge... it went something like....
Me~"Mojo you sit still"
Mojo~"I don't have to"
Me~" I have to trim your butt"
Mojo~"I'm telling my dad on you"
Me~"Well I'm telling your momma"
Argument over and now we're friends again! Not sure he's totally over it since he's still doing an eye roll in the photo!

Winston is so upset! His momma abandoned him today(brought him for a spa day)! Jen cut off every toe(cut his toe nails), poked his ear drums( cleaned is ears) and then poured cold water on him(nice warm water)! The worst part is she left him shivering for HOURS( 5 minutes to soak in oatmeal shampoo)! Someone get his grandma!
