G & C Petting Zoo We are a traveling petting zoo and usually take 12-15 animals to each site. Miniature donkeys, calves, sheep, goats, rabbits, pig, tortoise are available.

We like to set up our pens in grassy, shady areas.

We were at Peterson Assisted Living today in Osage City. They invited the elementary school to come see the animals and also gave them shaved ice. We were there from 10:00 to 3:00 and enjoyed the residents and children. It was 96 degrees (thankful for shade trees) when we packed up to come home. As we drove north, we could see the clouds building and the temp dropped to 67 degrees so doing chores wasn’t too bad with the cooler weather. That was a blessing.

Had a good night at Atchison County Fair last night in Effingham. We will be back there tonight so come see us.

We went to church and then had a good time at an appreciation party at The Foundry in Topeka late afternoon and evening today. Couldn’t have asked for nicer weather. Had great help and the animals were on their best behavior.

Made some Sr Citizens in Rossville mighty happy today. Once again enjoyed visiting and forgot to take more pictures.
