Our August K-State clinic is behind us and 32 Jackson County cats have begun a healthier rest of life.

August is clear the Shelters Month! Thanks to Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation grant, These 19 dogs have the adoption fees waived for an approved adopter. Please come visit us Tuesday thru Friday Noon to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm to find your new best fur friend!!!

Hey guys, we could use some help here at the shelter. If you stop by a Dollar General can you look to see if they have any of this scent Odoban? Its normally $10 per gallon, but they're discontinuing it so it is now $3 per gallon. Holton no longer has any left, as I have bought all they had. This is what we clean the kennels with, if you find any we would be happy to reimburse you if you dont want to donate it. (The original scent is not on clearance.)

Today was an extremely heart felt day! A day I knew would be here at some point. I will be forever grateful for all of our adopters, however this one truly took a part of my heart. First of all, I want to thank all of the beautiful people that donated monies, time, prayers and just pure love for our guy! A very special shout out to the volunteers that helped with the endless overnights of around the clock feedings. It truly takes a village. A special thank you to Heartland Veterinary Health Center, LLC Dr Amy Sunday and Dr Don Sunday, bless you for helping me care for this sweet baby! Pam, God bless you for everything you have done, spending so much time with him, loving him, bringing food for him and treats for all of our shelter dogs! I truly adore you, Dobby is beyond blessed to have you! And last but NOT least my amazing staff!!! I could go on and on, I will forever give you the credit you deserve! I love each of your hearts!
