We have 5 new cats at our colony site that have shown up this summer.

We don't know how/why this keeps happening.

Two of them are ear-tipped. So thankfully we don't have to trap those two. But I don't know who is doing TNR, Then letting them go at our colony. Not cool, whoever you are. They should have gone back to wherever you trapped them at. One of them is not doing very well. It was obviously somebody's pet. It's very friendly.

I guess this is the downside to having a public profile for our colony. But now our resources are stretched.

I know that cat rescue is pretty brutal right now. All of the rescues and the city shelter have their resources stretched to the limit. But please don't dump your problems on us. One of these days we will figure out who you are.

Of course, all cats that show up are treated Respectfully and accepted and fed. There's pictures above of all of our newbies. We will always do right by our outside cats.

Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets for our last fundraiser! We couldn't do what we do without the kindness and generosity of our community!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

It is with heavy hearts that we had to say goodbye to one of our colony cats, Starlight. Star crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge peacefully last night in the care of a clinic. She was sick and we didn't want her to suffer anymore, or die alone in the weeds somewhere..

We love all our colony cats equally, even the shy ones. Star was barely feral, she was gentle and quiet, you could touch her, pet her sometimes. She wasn't afraid of us.

Star was loved and she earned her wings! Fly free, Star, say hello to all the beloved animals we have lost to heaven before. Now you can be a happy cat and play all day long.

We love you and will never forget you!
