If your dog has an ACL injury, they may sit with one leg out to the side, rather than both legs underneath them. This is one of the easiest signs that TPLO surgery may be needed, since dogs won't sit in this position normally. It indicates they are experiencing some sort of pain in their leg and needs to be examined.

"I brought my cat Bruce in today. I had no appointment and they were completely booked. I told them about my cats issues over the phone and they were kind enough to let me bring him in and fit him in between patients. I was there for a short period of time. Dr. Hein did a wonderful job explaining Bruce’s ailment and so did his assistant. She had long blonde hair I don’t know her name, but I want to thank her. It wasn’t very expensive at all relatively speaking. I’ve heard horror stories from other veterinarian clinics. This was a happy ending. Thanks Van Loon Hospital."
