Let’s talk about packing for a dog show, shall we? The other day my darling husband told me he had been planning a bonfire for his work team on Friday night at our house, but now it might be rescheduled because of the Sportsball Series. I looked at him and was like, “Friday? You thought the Friday night before a show, THE dog show of the year, was a good night for people to come over?”
The husband, he looked at me so naively (how after 20 years of marriage is beyond me but I digress) and told me well I don’t have to be out there I can be packing. BUT THEN he declared that also, I have plenty of time to pack before then. 👀

🤣🤣🤣
I was like “honey, we’ve been doing this (dog shows) for 15 years, I think we know by now that no matter what I tell myself about it being different this time, Friday night is when everything is getting done. The packing, dogs bathed, this will be happening Friday night”.
This is the way of the dog show world. I do t make the rules 🤷🏼♀️. There’s a reason why it takes 2 days to recover from a dog show weekend, and packing, unpacking, repacking, and finally unpacking the car might be one of the top reasons.
