We know how exciting (and nerve-wracking) it can be to send your dog to daycare for the first time!

To help make the transition smooth and enjoyable for both you and your furry friend, here are some of our tips:

🐾 Drop Off Early – An early morning drop-off gives your dog time to settle in before the rush of the other dogs arriving begins.
🐾 Stay Calm – Dogs pick up on your energy. If you're relaxed and confident, your dog will feel more at ease too.
🐾 Keep It Short & Sweet – A quick, cheerful goodbye helps reduce stress and sets a positive tone for the day.
🐾 Skip the Spa Day – Hold off on baths or nail trims until your dog is fully comfortable with daycare. Too much at once can be overwhelming!
🐾 Use a Standard Leash – Retractable leashes can be tricky in busy spaces. A standard leash gives you more control and helps keep drop-off smooth.
🐾 Report Card Included! – You'll get a detailed report card at the end of the day, so you’ll know how your dog adjusted and who they made friends with.

Remember, each dog is different and will adjust to daycare at their own pace. We're here to support you and your dog every step of the way. ❤️

Pumpkin Roll week is in full swing. 🎃

Our team filled the yard with fake pumpkins and pumpkin-colored balls for the dogs to nudge, sniff, and roll around. The mix of shapes, sizes, and textures gives curious noses plenty to work on, and for our ball-obsessed members, it’s about as good as it gets.

Enrichment activities are for PPCC members. Want your pup in on the fun? Contact us to learn about membership.

So, is your dog a gentle nudger, a careful sniffer, or a full pumpkin tackler? 👇

Your dog doesn’t see shoes… they see chew toys with laces. How many will be left standing? 👟

Let us help keep your pup entertained, and we can help work on manners as well. 😉

Check out our website to learn more about enrichment-based daycare and how we can help you, your dog, and your furniture. 🙃
