Little Scout gave us quite the scare yesterday when he suddenly stopped eating. We got him into the vet and he went through several test. We learned that Scout is 3 years old and that somewhere along the way his hips were broken and left untreated. He has been through so much 😢 keep good thoughts for Scout as he rests, eats, and and works to shake off all the bad things in the past!

Ireland and LuLu are best friends 🧡 both girls arrived to the rescue unsure of how to play with other dogs BUT today you would never know any of their pasts by looking at them now! Ireland is 1 year old, 48 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, and housebroken. Constance's goal gain weight! She is eating very well and excited for treats too. Constance is a very sweet girl she sees her humans and its belly rub time. Constance has left the shelter, made her way to the vet, and finally relaxing. She did so well at the vet where she got xrays and bloodwork. Her xrays were clear and her full time job is eating and getting healthy while we wait for the bloodwork results to come back. She is a happy girl, extremely affectionate, and quite the snuggler! Stary has left the shelter and resting comfortably at the WAGS house while she heals from her spay. Stary was so happy to leave the shter she showered us in kisses the whole drive. Tonight she is safe, healing, and will meet her new dad in 2 weeks and he is so excited for her to arrive! Julie Levelis-davis

🌈🐾 Remembering Dancer 🐾🌈

Dancer was saved by an advocate who never gave up on her. Because of Annika, Dancer didn’t leave this earth waiting for a family—she left adopted, loved, and truly home. ❤️

Dancer received a devastating cancer diagnosis that quickly spread through her body, ultimately taking her life far too soon.

But cancer will never be what defines Dancer.

We will always remember her as the dog who smiled. The gentle girl who was wonderful with cats. The girl who was over the moon to have her own bed, her favorite blanket, and most importantly, her mom. 🥹❤️

Dancer knew what it meant to be loved. She knew what it meant to belong. And she got to experience the family she had waited for.

Thank you, Annika, for saving Dancer’s life—and for making sure her life was filled with love. You gave her the greatest gift of all: a family, a home, and the chance to be cherished until the very end.
