Maverick came here for training to address is reactivity and aggression to strangers.
His owner was not able to bring him in public or around other people.
We worked hard on building his confidence as well as teaching him to follow his owner’s lead when in public and around strangers.
We received this update of Mav enjoying being able to go out to a restaurant with his mom and settle around new people in a new place!
We still always encourage a muzzle for a while when doing public training with dogs that had previous history of aggression for precautions, but with time eventually can work away from it.
I’m so proud of this boy and how far he’s come! It’s all because of how determined and consistent his mom is!
Now Maverick is able to enjoy more to life!

Love seeing this! Ripley was picked up by her mom and dad after finishing her board and train this evening and they were able to go right out to eat and sit on the patio at the restaurant with her! I love seeing these updates!
These are the great things you can do with your dog when they are trained!

Crocs the cat is a paid employee here at Happy Active Dog Training 🤣
She takes her job of helping teach impulse control to dogs here in training very seriously.

Successful field trip with board and train pup, Ripley, who came with me to get some chicks from tractor supply!
She was very good so she earned herself a pup ice cream at the end!

Spicy and I had fun at the PSA trial last weekend and earned our PSA PDC!
