Important Pet Medication Recall

We want to make sure our clients are aware of a recent veterinary medication recall that may affect your pets.
Wedgewood Pharmacy LLC is voluntarily recalling nearly 4,000 compounded veterinary medications due to potential potency issues. The affected products were shipped nationwide between February 18, 2026, and October 6, 2026, to veterinary practices, pharmacies, and other customers. The recall includes various medications in forms such as powders, pastes, oral suspensions, injectables, ophthalmic ointments and solutions, ear solutions, topical sprays, and gels.

What does this mean for you and your pet?
If your pet is currently taking a compounded medication from Wedgewood Pharmacy, please check whether it's included in the recall. You can find the complete list of affected products, including lot numbers and expiration dates, here:

If your pet is on any recalled medications, we'll contact you. We know how important your pet's health and well-being are to you. If you have questions or concerns about a medication your pet is taking, please give our team a call. We're happy to help you understand what this means for your pet and determine any next steps.

on Praed Place & Linwick Dr in Fuquay Varina NC. Sweet boy is well fed, calm and is not microchipped. Wearing a collar when found but no tags.

Hey guys, meet Zeph! He’s a 3 year old male American Bulldog. He was outside playing with his brother, when he came inside his mom noticed blood pouring from his ear!

Mom brought him in to see us but unfortunately Zeph wasn’t very excited to meet us. To reduce his anxiety and appropriately evaluate his wound we gave him some sedation medication.

Dr. Zheng was then able to clean his wound while Zeph rested comfortably. We were able to stop the bleeding, give him pain meds and antibiotics and he was good to go!

Help us wish Zeph a speedy recovery! ❤️‍🩹

Happy Friday the 13th!

On Friday the 13th (and Halloween) the negative stereotype around black cats and they’re bringing “bad luck” only intensifies.

Unfortunately, this baseless negative association with bad luck can mean that black cats are often overlooked for adoption and have a lower chance of being adopted than other cats.

Put all superstitions aside and adopt a black cat on Friday the 13th. We think it will be a double dose of good luck!
