Boarding is only $45 per night for dogs and $40 per night for cats!

Dogs can go home squeaky clean with a free bath! 🧼🛁

Please note: A $5 daily fee applies for pets requiring medication administration. Drop-offs and pick-ups are available Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays when our facility is closed.

Visiting family or just traveling during the upcoming holiday season? Make sure your pets are up-to-date on what's required! 💉

Requirements will depend on your boarding facility.

Our boarding facility's requirements for dogs have recently changed due to an update to the core vaccines list:

🐶 Dogs must now be up-to-date on their Leptospirosis vaccination, along with their Bordetella, DHPP, and Rabies vaccinations. They also must have had a negative f***l analysis within the last year, showing that they are free of intestinal parasites.

🐱 Cats must be up-to-date on their FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations and have had a negative f***l analysis within the last year, showing they are free of intestinal parasites.

It's World Rabies Day!

Rabies is 100% fatal. ☠

You're probably familiar with the classic symptoms of rabies, like anxiety, aggression, hypersalivation, fear of water, and hallucinations, but the first sign is much more subtle. Once infected with rabies, you'll develop flu-like symptoms, muscle aches and weakness, and headaches and, by that point, it's too late for treatment.

For this reason, the rabies vaccination is legally required for all cats, dogs, and ferrets in the state of North Carolina. No exceptions. 💉

Rabies can only be eliminated if we all work together. While veterinarians, healthcare workers, researchers, and legislators do their part, you can help by staying educated, raising awareness in your community, and vaccinating your pets. 💙

Is it deafness or just selective hearing? 😉

Our cats and dogs can be very good at pretending they didn’t hear us, especially if we're calling them away from something fun! But sometimes, changes in hearing can be more than just selective listening.

Keep an eye out for these signs and, if you suspect your pet may be having trouble hearing, don’t just chalk it up to them ignoring you! A visit with your veterinarian can help determine what’s going on and how you can best support them. 💙
