Did you know chiropractic adjustments can support baby animals to improve their mobility and nursing capabilities after birth?

These pygmy goats are less an a week old and they have a beautiful life ahead of them as show livestock and pets. We want to help them thrive and optimize their health in every way possible so naturally I adjusted them.

Some say Pygmy goats are the French bulldogs of the goat world, why is that?

They are curious, playful, personable and enjoy human contact 😍 What else is there to love?

I may have a new favorite species of animal....

Did you know that four months ago a young veterinarian recommended spine surgery or euthanasia for this 6 year old dog?

Within two adjustments, Kipper was back to his joyful, active self after one month of pain and limited mobility. Today was our four month maintenance follow up appointment to check his spine, adjust him and make sure he continues functioning at his best and never has another serious back injury again. I am so thankful his owners had the wherewithal to call me.

Now his homework between visits are doggie burpees (sit>lie down>stand up) and circles daily to maintain mobility and activate core stabilizer muscles in the hind end.

If you have a dog that has difficulty moving from sit to stand or is unable to touch their nose to their tail, please seek chiropractic care for your pet from a licensed and certified professional.

I am not a veterinarian and I refer clients to see veterinarians every day, but we need to educate the public, as a licensed chiropractor I am capable of helping animals with injuries and I hate seeing animals euthanized when chiropractic is an affordable, safe and effective option.

Gigi loves body work and having her back worked on. The tail wag, tail pull and butt tucks should be essential parts of your at home routine with your horses and it should be comfortable for your horses to do these movements. If your horse is unable to tolerate these movements, please have a certified professional chiropractor look at your horse.

Organic ground chicken or beef with Bok Choy, fresh ginger, garlic and coconut aminos seasoned with tumeric, pepper, cumin and paprika is a delicious, easy protein heavy meal with nutrient dense cruciferous bok choy and fresh spices.

This also pairs well with spaghetti squash, brown rice or quinoa if you want to add more carbs, calories and fiber to your meal.

Hoof care and regular trimming every four to six weeks is essential for keeping your horse sound.

Gigi has some arthritis in her feet after a long career as a polo pony and we are keeping her sound with regular trimming and shoes to accommodate for compensation from past injuries. She is also fed high quality timothy orchard and alfalfa hay and has been under maintenance chiropractic care for the past five years.

Biannual veterinary and dental care is also essential, but we will save that for another post...

Whether you ride your horse, or not, having a good farrier is an essential maintenance requirement for all horse owners.

Do you have wrist mobility issues after an injury or surgery?

Do you have hand, elbow or forearm pain during or after playing your sport?

Start with gentle stretches and nerve gliding before assisted stretching to improve wrist range of motion.

Always keep the elbow straight and next to your ribcage to isolate the wrist during your mobility exercises.

Repetition Repetition Repetition
Do these exercises atleast 3x/day to regain mobility and improve pain levels in the hands and forearms.
