Good morning champions!!! Jet and Team Memphis still need your help! He is also looking for his happy ending, much like Houdini in my story yesterday. He has had a wild ride so far in life, and he’s ready to be your best friend. Adopt or donate if you can ❤️

We could use a little help with Jet. ❤️

Jet is doing SO well at The Champion Farm, and we would really love to keep him there for another couple of weeks.

If you know Jet's story, you know how much it means to see him running around, learning new things and just having fun. Jet is a dog who likes having a job and something to do—even if that job happens to be wearing a cow hat and getting attention for his fundraiser. 😂🐄

We've had a couple of dogs unexpectedly returned from foster homes, so we're covering temporary boarding for them right now. We don't want those unexpected expenses to mean cutting Jet's time at the farm short.

If you can throw a few dollars toward Jet's stay, we would really appreciate it. Every little bit helps us give him a couple more weeks to keep learning, playing and being the goofy boy we're finally getting to see. ❤️

Houdini and Melody ❤️ Houdini came here for training back in 2024. He was reactive and aggressive when put in situations that made him uncomfortable. Because he was a rescued dog from all the way in East TN, I didn’t think we would be able to help him. But the rescue persisted and got him into our program for a month of training. After the first month we offered to foster him until he got adopted. We could see the diamond underneath the rock. He just needed someone to guide him, and show him the world is a wonderful place. We noticed how he gravitated toward Melody, and we slowly let them start spending time together. The rest was history. This isn’t the first time I’ve watched a dog with behavioral problems become the best friend of a child. It’s a magical, unexplainable thing that I am so grateful to witness. Houdini adores Melody. He is gentle with her, and always up to play and follow her around. We can’t keep all the rescue dogs we train, but sometimes certain ones are just meant to be here with us. These two were meant to be together for sure. ❤️

What a wild few days! Did the storm hit your area? We are so blessed this tree hit the fence and not the house.

Last night everything was peaceful and dry. The dogs were sleeping in the house. We were getting ready for dinner. And suddenly the wind picked up. I had the horses in the front pasture so I ran outside to move them, and I had a funny feeling about this one tree. Edgar ran out to help, and we managed to get back in the house before the tree came down on the fence. We have about five trees down, two on our fence line. But the fence is holding up, and one of the trees could have easily landed on our house. We are incredibly blessed! The animals are loving eating all the debris (they like the leaves). The dogs think new toy sticks fell from the sky. And we have the next two days to spend cleaning up. At least it finally rained? 🤪 I hope everyone is safe this morning. We heard the winds reached 80 mph.

Four years ago today was the greatest day of my life. This little creature magically came into the world and changed our lives forever. She definitely represents her middle name of joy. She is a light in this world. 💫 Edgar and I are so blessed to have this opportunity to raise her and experience this incredible journey together. Happy Birthday Melody Joy! You are wise. You are loved. You are free! 🐴 🐑 🐓 🐐 🐄 🐈 🐕

Dylia is still searching for her forever home! If you’re interested in fostering or adopting contact Blues City Animal Rescue. She is completing two weeks of Champion Camp on Thursday! We adore this sweet girl, and hope she finds the most wonderful home.

Dylia is approximately 4 years old. She is house and kennel trained, and LOVES people. She is good with other dogs and cats.

Jet has been through a lot since he was rescued. From being found on a rural road, to going through a shelter, foster homes, a failed adoption, trainers, and medical issues, he’s finally ended up here at the farm. And he needs your help. He has completed two weeks of training here, and we have recommended that he stay for an additional two weeks.

Why?

Jet is a wonderful dog, full of energy and happiness. But during his journey he has gotten confused. He needs more time to decompress and open up to new experiences. We believe this additional two weeks will give him what he needs to finally be adopted successfully. We offer the rescue a discount and provide everything he needs while here.
