There is nothing else in this world like the connection between a person and a dog. I hear people often say, “I wish I had a dog like yours. A dog that enjoys being with me and we can have fun together.” That is ultimately why we started training dogs full time 6 years ago. We wanted to help people achieve this strong and beautiful connection. The photo below is me and Valentino. We no longer need a leash or commands or any tools. We have what we call a “mental leash”. Really it’s just an invisible connection and understanding between me and him that is always there, day and night, whether we’re together or apart. I could tell you all the things I did to achieve this friendship, but the secret ingredient is care. I care enough to consider what he needs. And in return he cares about me. It is that simple, but it requires lots of awareness and effort. In the beginning it required a lot of time. Now it’s easy.

If you rescue a dog, or you’ve raised a dog that starts to have behavioral concerns, it may require 10x the amount of effort and time. It may require every single tool to get started. That’s where we can help you. Our goal is always to help you achieve this connection. It’s up to you to care enough for it to become a reality. ❤️

Call Taylor at 662-403-1180 to get started.

This story is one of my personal favorites! 😍 Does anyone recognize this dog? Especially my local Mt Pleasant people? You might remember there was a dog who lived on Highway 311 for years. People often thought he was a stray, but nope. He had an owner (who passed away). And Red lived a good life watching cars go by. Little did he know one day a car would pick him up and take him off to a new life.

When we heard they were moving this special, local “mascot” you could say, we got involved. I just wanted to know where he would go. It was weird to not see him lounging by the road like he always did. Edgar did an in home session with the foster. All 4s Rescue League got him heartworm treatment and vet care. Then they asked if he could come for Champion Camp.

As you can imagine Red’s life has been turned upside down. He is struggling to adjust, and that’s where we hope we can show him how to be his best self in this new world.

He is available for adoption after training. Follow our page to see how he progresses. You can apply to adopt at https://www.all4srescue.com

Today is my 33rd birthday! 🦋 And 33 is my lucky number. This year, the year of the fire horse and so many blessings, is going to be GREAT. Every year many of you send gifts or donations for our rescue dogs. And this time I would love for you to donate to Team Memphis Rescue & Support in honor of my birthday. Just put Taylor in the caption. They always go above and beyond for their dogs, including sending them here for training. Thank you for every dollar donated to support their cause!

We had three rescues in training this past couple weeks. And each one is as unique as they look! Please share this post to help them find an adopter, and checkout their progress report below.

Dot - The one, the only, the life of the party, she is cute and she knows it. But she was nervous sometimes with people. We’ve been working hard to draw her out of her shell. She is available to adopt via Team Memphis Rescue & Support

Ruby- This gentle chunk of love, completed two weeks of training and is staying a little longer with us for boarding until her foster is ready. You can apply to adopt via Team Memphis Rescue and Support. They are asking for donations to cover her extra boarding here. 🙏🏻🫶🏻

Rex- The sweet old man who lost his owner is pending adoption next week 😍 Tunica HumaneSociety stepped up to help him and it looks like he’s about to get his happy ending ❤️

All dogs are HW neg, fully vetted and spayed/neutered. Their adoption fee includes an in home training session with Edgar.

*We train dogs for shelters/rescues and individual dog owners. Please call Taylor at 662-403-1180 for more info about our program.

Here is Melody Joy now 😍 She will be four in August. My friend Rosie came out to the farm recently and literally got down in the dirt with my wild child. 😂 My secret to raising a happy kid? Let them play in the dirt. The dirt, the mud, the water, the grass. Let them explore and fall and cry and laugh and ask all the questions. Melody’s two favorite questions right now are, “How I do that Mama?” and “Why?” She is usually full of joy, but when she’s not I just smile and love her, and she bounces back real quick.

Thank you for all your comments and prayers and love yesterday. We hope you all did okay with the storms last night. It was rough! But we’re grateful for the water that came with it. ❤️

No one wants to suffer. But sometimes it’s our darkest moments that teach us how to live a better life. I know for us, Melody being in the hospital three years ago was life changing in so many ways. I sent the first photo to my family and my dad said, “Oh look, she’s all grown up and Melody too.”

We spent five weeks at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital back in April/May 2023. Melody had been born with a tethered spinal cord that got infected. She had surgery and we stayed in the hospital afterwards. It felt like forever. But I met families who have been there for months or years. And so I know I’m blessed it was such a short time.

I use to sing this little song to her every day. “Every little cell in my body is happy. Every little cell in my body is well. I’m so glad every little cell in my body is happy and well.” I posted our journey on Facebook, and so many of you prayed for us and sent us good energy. To this day I run into people who remember us during this time. I don’t think I fully understand how much support we received. And I am forever grateful.

During Melody’s last MRI and check up the doctors couldn’t believe how well she is doing. It’s like it never happened 😅 She’s all healed up— and I truly believe it took both the doctor and every single one of you to make that happen. 🙏🏻

Miracles happen every day. All we have to do is open our eyes (and hearts) and see. 🫶🏻
