Did you know?? Our mini calf poor little beans is loosing his voice this week as we wean him off the bottle. EVEN THOUGH he gets grain & grass all day long & still 1/2 a bottle morning&night he will not tolerate this. But he’s getting too chunky & eating fully on his own so it’s TIME baby boy.

Cool Beans is handsome & he knows it! This little guy is a herd sire in the making. We just got his DNA back & he’s got the makings to be the perfect sire. 50% of his calves will be polled, he has tons of hair, chondro positive, & something I wasn’t expecting… He carries one dilution copy & wild type which means that he can produce ANY color baby & essentially the rules of color genetics don’t apply to this cool little dude.
