Rice III opened the doors of our hospital on October 1, 1969. Since that day, the Holden Veterinary Clinic has been known for excellent medical and surgical care in the Holden area. If you get stuck on the wrong side of the tracks, feel free to call us to let us know you’re on your way and so we can take a history over the phone!

Stewart will get right on it as soon as he’s done napping on this rainy Monday.

Meet Fenway!
Fenway and his mom are big advocates for Fear-Free techniques and training. A big part of this for Fenway was pre-medications and establishing a routine. When we first met Fenway, it was safe to say HVC was not his happy place. Nowadays you can catch Fenway dragging mom into the vet when the coast is clear as he is so excited to see us! His mom put a lot of work and training into helping Fenway see that we are just here to help him. All her hard work paid off when Fenway was very lethargic one day and could not take his pre-meds, he came in anyways and after some testing it was determined Fenway has Addisons! After some hospital stays to get him regulated and monthly visits to us for a shot, Fenway is feeling good and loves his routine to see the girls.

We are so happy that Scout is always so happy to see us 💕 Mom said HVC is one of his favorite places
