Meat chicks have arrived! In 9-11 weeks they will be freezer ready 😋 I'm so glad I'm able to show my girls where their food comes from.

So this weekend didn't go as planned ....

Frodo was supposed to experience his first endurance ride today, however heavy rainfall yesterday and more today I decided it was in his best interest to not go out. In order for us to make time we'd have to be faster on a slippery trail than he's currently ready for. So instead we played on the obstacle course in-between showers. He is seriously the best boy 😍 He is so willing and has the kindest spirit. He's taken everything in and been his usual chill self. Even vetting in last night during thunder and lightning he was chill. He pulsed in at 38! I'm sad that we didn't go out today, but I know that was the best thing for our situation. We will try again in a month. Hopefully with more training we'll feel comfortable going out on a wet trail then.

Workout complete for the day.

Prepping for our first endurance ride of the season. We aren't even close to as prepared as I would like, but fun will be had.

This is the road headed from our house to the main road. The fence that goes underwater on the left is a standard 4ft fence. The water *is* going down, but slowly. For those coming out for lessons there is an alternate route that will add about 15mins coming from Elizabethtown. For those coming from Hodgenville, there is an alternate route that will add about 5-8 mins. Right now the aisle up to the arena is flooded. To get to the arena we need to walk around the pastures, up the neighbors side of the fence, then enter our property at the top pasture and access the arena from there. It's a lot 😞
