We did it again!🥹💜

We’re so excited to share that we won Platinum in both Kennels & Grooming in the CommunityVOTES Chattanooga 2026 awards!🏆

Last year we won Platinum for Grooming, so getting both Kennels and Grooming this year is pretty awesome!

Thank you so much to everyone who voted, supports us, trusts us with your pets, and continues to recommend The Barking Lot. We truly appreciate you!🐶💕

Their coat may not have been thoroughly dried.
Dirt and oils may still be trapped close to the skin.
The skin or coat may a need different type of shampoo and conditioner.

A good bath is about more than making your dog smell good- it’s about properly cleaning the skin and coat.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🐾

If your pet is not vaccinated, especially for rabies, we cannot take them. Period.

Our vaccination requirements are not optional, and we are not going to argue, negotiate, or make exceptions. These rules are in place to protect your pet, our staff, and every other animal that comes through our doors.

If you choose not to vaccinate your pet, that is your decision. However, you’ll need to find a vet or facility that can accommodate that choice.

You don’t have to agree with our policies, but if you want to use our services, you do have to respect and follow them.

We love animals, and that’s exactly why we take their safety seriously. Thank you to everyone who understands and respects our policies!💜

Vaccinations we require to use our services:
Rabies
Bordetella
Distemper
Parvo

Grooming Pickup Reminder

As we head into our busier season, we’d love to kindly remind everyone to please pick up your dog within 1 hour of being notified that they are ready.

Dogs staying longer than the 1 hour grace period will be charged a $25 daycare fee.

We’ve been able to accommodate longer stays in the past, but with our busy season coming up, we need to make sure we have enough space for all of our daycare, boarding, and grooming dogs.

Thanks for understanding!💜
