For those of you who don’t know me or haven’t known me, this horse may not look out of place considering I run lesson program for kids and adults. However he is the first draft I have ever had. I am small person and having ridden large warmbloods in my 20s, I can say I love a great pony. So when I bought him everyone was shocked. What I didn’t know was how much his quiet personality was needed in my herd. Max is an ex Amish horse who is still regaining muscle but is happily packing around a few adults and teenager. I am still looking forward to watching him fill out to like one ton weight.

Always learning and improving
No matter how much I learn I am always wanting to know more. I love taking lessons and going to clinic and I am lucky to have a barn close who loves to hosts clinics. I will stepping and asking my more advanced riders to start taking the horses to clinics or show in the next 6 months. If the price of more lessons is out of your budget don’t worry, I have list of books for riders.

Summer is coming.
1) camp is June 22-26 9-2 don’t forget to register
2) summer lessons schedule if your regular lesson is before 5 we need talk about coming at 5 or later or finding a morning time on Monday or Tuesday.
3) please bring water to all lessons, I would prefer not use my first aid skills because you forgot your water. (Humorously my first aid is mostly horse sized so you may end over bandaged)
4) I am looking forward to having everyone enjoy the foal due beginning of June but keep in mind it may arrive at any time between May 20th and June 14. If it arrives during lesson hours we will have to reschedule. Camera is up for foal watch and I will save the video for those who would like to watch.
5) 1/2 hour private lesson will be available in the morning for riders who would like to work on dressage tests. Haul in welcome

I tried to order a four step mounting block back in January after buying a 17.1 Belgian draft for my lesson program well it never showed up and no one knows if it will so it got canceled and I looked for something else. Found on Uline for less than a four step mounting block and it roughly the same height and way more stable than the traditional 3-step next to it. Other than that color being very bright I do like how is more stable on the arena ground and tall enough for my short self to mount the extra tall horses. Also bonus as it arrived less than 24 hours after order do to my proximity to the distribution facility.

Ravioli is 2/3 of the way through her pregnancy. We are looking forward to having a foal again as our youngest home breed is 8 years old in May. This will be our first horse foal as the other two are ponies. The best part of this journey with ravioli is that she has seemed to enjoy this more than anything else we have done.
