As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

On May 15, 2026, Sgt Oelschlager and K9 Sinner responded to reports of female with gunshot wound where the suspect fled. K9 Sinner initiated a track toward the area of a closed business where the suspect was ultimately located hiding on the roof.
An article search conducted resulted in the recovery of the suspect’s firearm.
