💦 Pressure Washing Adventures 💦
Pressure washing has kept us running all over town — apparently every lanai, walkway, and chicken coop decided to grow its own ecosystem this month.
We’ve blasted off green mold, black mold, grime, buildup, chicken p**p, and even paint stains that were holding on for dear life. Some of these stains had personality.
Mahalo for keeping us busy and giving us plenty of “you won’t believe what we washed today” stories. Hilo Helpers is out here fighting the good fight, one dirty corner at a time.

Aloha September — A Season of Leveling Up

School’s back, the rain is coming, and Hilo Helpers is hitting the books and the tool belts.

We’ve officially started the Carpentry Program at Hawai‘i CC — and we’re already fixing leaks, lifting gutters, and learning new tricks to better serve our community.

As Hilo Helpers continues to grow, we’ve been getting pulled into more handyman projects — installing TV mounts, hanging artwork, installing doors, fixing sagging doors, removing old ceiling fans and installing new ones, and even repairing leaking refrigerators. We’re grateful for every job and every client who trusts us with their home.
Because of all your support, we’ve decided to go back to school and learn a new trade to expand what we can offer. Thank you for the encouragement, the steady work, and the referrals. We appreciate our community more than you know.

🌧️ Storm Lala Update & Community Message 🌱
To all our Hilo Helpers clients and neighbors, we’re wishing you a safe, steady return to normalcy as we move through the impacts of Storm Lala.
Hawaiian Electric has updated the restoration timeline — power is now expected to return Wednesday by 5 PM, instead of today, due to the extensive outages across the island.
Generators at Home Depot, O’Reilly’s, and Steve’s Honda are currently completely sold out, so please plan accordingly and stay prepared as crews continue their work.
We’re all navigating this unsettling event together, and we’re sending you our best as the island recovers and settles back in. Stay safe, stay connected, and take care of one another. 🌺💪
