1,000+ combined followers on Facebook & Instagram 🥳 this might seem so small to others, but for us it means we have made an impression on 1,000+ lives. To us, that means the world! Mahalo for trusting us and we hope to continue making a positive difference for all ohanas in Hilo 🤍

Playing with toys is very healthy for your pets, especially if they live indoors because they burn off their energy 😼 But it is still important to monitor them so you can catch them if they start to ingest any of the material. Thankfully this corgi, Button the Corgi 🐶 has been taught not to eat the stuffing of his toy (although it does sure make a mess 😆). However, we will always recommend supervision to keep your pets safe!

Celebrating Seven Wonderful Years! 🎉
This month, Island Veterinary Center proudly celebrates its 7th anniversary! 🥳
Seven years ago, we opened our doors with a commitment to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to the East Hawai'i community. That commitment continues to guide us every day.
We are incredibly grateful for the confidence, trust, and friendship of our clients and honored to care for their beloved pets. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of their lives and for making the past seven years so rewarding. 🫶🏼
To our amazing team--thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence. We couldn't have reached this milestone without you.
Here's to the years ahead and continuing to serve the pets of East Hawaii. 🤍

Pets are our passion! 🐶🐱🐰🐥🐾

Peak summer is here, and fireworks are just around the corner! Here is your reminder to be mindful of your little one's ears. Both cats and dogs are scared and uneasy around fireworks. Please keep them indoors, in a safe place, and give us a call if you would like to inquire about anti-anxiety medication. (We do not do appointments through DM). We wish you all a fun and safe summer and holiday 🎆

A gentle reminder to please be careful with mud, especially after the storms that have hit our islands 🥺 Dogs love playing in it, and could potentially ingest it - along with potential parasites and bacteria. We want to ensure your loved ones stay safe.

If you are experiencing your pup having symptoms or behaving abnormally, please give us a call! (Reminder we do not schedule appointments via DMs)
