Top Dog Training & Resort Your dog enjoys a day filled with fun games, socialization, play equipment all while fine tuning Manners I've been an animal lover all of my life.

Constantly rescuing animals, doing volunteer work with shelters and rescue organizations, and finding the right home for the right dog, led me to a career in dog training. In September 2004, I attended Dog Training School and completed a one year internship to become a certified K9 Instructor, Narcotics and Explosives Detection, Man Trailing and Search and Rescue, and Obedience and Behavior Modification. October of 2005, I ventured out and started my own company, All Dogs Training. I have my own personal dogs I've trained : K9 Lester, Belgian Malinois, for Narcotics detection, K9 Massima, K9 Lapua, and K9 Judge, German Shepherds, for SAR. Bogie, Boxer/pitt mix, for CGC and preagility, and Shannon, Shepherd mix, for showing off her obedience and socialization skills. The purpose of our program is to educate and help pet owners understand their dog's behaviors. Dogs are pack animals and enjoy being around their human family. Without proper socialization and discipline, they can develop out-of-control or destructive behaviors. These behaviors can cause lots of frustration. We combine exercise, positive reinforcement, fun training games, and socialization with consistency and reinforcement to establish leadership. Our goal is to teach your dog to know what behaviors are expected of him/her and to help create a balanced pet and owner companionship. All commands are performed the first time they are given, even with distractions. At the end of only three weeks, your dog will do the following on-leash: SIT, DOWN, STAY with distractions, COME, HEEL at your side and automatically sitting when you stop, LEAVE IT, DROP IT, and PLACE. We also teach your dog how to properly greet people without jumping up and how to go through gates and doors under control. We also work on problem behaviors such as house training, socialization, fear aggression, leash aggression, separation anxiety, nipping, digging, chewing, and all other unwanted behaviors. Dogs aged 3 months and up. Our programs are designed to meet individuals needs. Therefore, we customize our programs to ensure customer satisfaction. We stand behind our training 100% and offer a lifetime guarantee. Each dog begins the training the day they meet with the trainer. so they are on their own schedule. Appointments are available Monday-Saturday 9 am- 6 pm. FREE brush up training included in boarding costs when dogs complete the training program. So you never have to worry about your dog regressing while you are away. Boarding costs are $45 per night your dog sleeps over. This includes, but is not limited to:
*24 hour supervision * participation in group training * socialization and play time * pictures sent via email * care provided for sick, elderly, and injured pets * no extra charge to administer medicine * Transportation provided for your pet(s) for a small fee.

Boarding School Student Maggie enjoyed a new training adventure today with her very first session on the screened porch, and this pretty girl rose to the occasion! 🐾 She showed good responses to Sit and Down, while continuing to make encouraging progress with Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, and Let’s Go with Auto Sit. Maggie also did well with Place and Leave-It. To give her an extra brain workout, we added treats to the floor during Let’s Go with Auto Sit and recall practice, challenging her to stay connected with her handler instead of getting sidetracked by tempting snacks. Maggie handled this added difficulty GREAT! Practicing around distractions helps prepare her to use her manners in everyday situations, where interesting smells and food may be nearby. She made the most of this new training space and showed some lovely effort throughout the session. Fantastic job, pretty girl! 👏💛

Boarding School Student Moose took his training on the road for a field trip to Home Depot, where he showed us that this young guy is ready to take on new adventures! He adjusted to the unfamiliar surroundings fairly easily and was able to focus on his cues while navigating a busy store. Moose demonstrated good responses to Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, and Down-Stay, while also practicing polite walking with Let’s Go with Auto Sit. He did well with Leave-It and responded nicely when called using his recall cue, Come. One of the highlights of the outing was the opportunity to practice positive socialization with both strangers and Home Depot employees along the way. Experiences like these help Moose learn that good manners matter outside the familiar training environment, too. Way to go, buddy! 👏🐾

Boarding School Student Andy returned to the living room for another morning of training, and this young guy is showing that repetition really does pay off! 👏 He put in a good effort with Sit, Sit-Stay, and Down, while Down-Stay is beginning to make more sense to him as he connects the pieces of the exercise. Andy also did well with Let’s Go with Auto Sit, although he’s still working out the automatic sit portion of the routine. He responded nicely to his recall cue, Come, and showed good work with Place and Leave-It. We also continued practicing Sit-Stay by the door to earn entrance. Andy hasn’t quite mastered waiting patiently at the doorway yet, but he’s making progress and learning that good things happen when he holds his position. With each session, he’s building a better understanding of what’s expected of him. Keep at it, buddy! 🐶

Boarding School Student Bruno explored a new training challenge this morning as we headed into the fenced area for his first session there, with a special emphasis on strengthening his Off-Leash Recall! 🐾 The unfamiliar scents naturally caught this curious Goldendoodle’s attention at first, but once the training games got underway, Bruno shifted his focus back to me and got down to business. He performed well with Sit and Sit-Stay, along with Down and Down-Stay, with both stay exercises practiced on an obstacle to add an extra layer of challenge. He also showed good effort with Let’s Go with Auto Sit, Off-Leash Recall, Place, and Leave-It. It was great to see him work through those initial distractions and reconnect with the task at hand. Learning to respond around new smells and surroundings is an important part of building reliable skills, and Bruno made good use of this first fenced-area session. Fantastic work, buddy! 👏
