He may look like he has very expensive taste but all he really wants is just cheese.

Meet Fluffy — a sophisticated gentleman with a fabulous black coat, impeccable manners, and absolutely zero interest in your furniture. 😌🐈‍⬛

At 16 years old, Fluffy has officially entered his “I know what I like and I have excellent taste” era.

His ideal evening? Curling up beside you for TV time, accepting all the pets, and then retiring to his favorite cozy spot for a well-deserved nap. He’s affectionate without being demanding and independent without being aloof. Basically… the perfect roommate.

And Fluffy has some very important interests:
🧀 Cheese
🥤 Pup cups (yes, really)
🌿 Catnip
📺 TV & cuddles
😴 Extremely serious napping
🐶 Dogs & other cats

He even learned to sit for cheese by watching his foster mom train the dog. We’re not saying he’s a genius… but we’re also not not saying it. 😂

Fluffy is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years doing what he does best: looking incredibly distinguished, being adored, and enjoying the finer things in life. 🖤

Adoptable dog of the day, meet Stephanie!🐾

Stephanie is a 16 pound spayed Papillon mix with the cutest big ears! Her coat is curly and has a rougher texture, which could indicate that she is mixed with a Yorkie or Silky terrier or another small breed Terrier.

Stephanie is a bit shy so she will need a little time to settle into a new home, and a quieter home would probably be best, one with children 9+ years old.🐾

This is Lucas! He’s currently at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater, NJ waiting for his forever home. The shelter is open from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm 7 days a week (closed on Labor Day).

Stop by and meet him!

When talking with one of the volunteers at the shelter, she said that Lucas loves nice, long walks and is playful. Even though this little guy is almost 6 years old, he has a lot of life left in him and love to give. He would be perfect for an older person who’s active.

This is Sugar. She is such a sweet, loving, playful girl looking for her forever home. Just a couple minutes with Sugar, and she will melt your heart. Currently, she is at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater, NJ. The shelter is open 7 days a week from 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Come by and ask to see Sugar. Bring her outside and see her playful, loving nature; you will fall in love!

Adoptable cat of the day, meet Saint!🐾

Saint has been diagnosed with FIV which is an autoimmune disease similar to Aids in humans, It cannot be transmitted to humans and only to others cats by deep bites, not by grooming, eating out of the same dish, sneezing or sharing a litter box. FIV cats can live long, normal lives.

Meet Saint, a striking orange tabby gentleman with a heart as warm as his handsome coat. This gentle giant is the definition of laid-back charm, happiest when hes in the same room as his favorite humans, soaking up scratches, treats, and well-earned admiration. Saint may be a little shy at first (after being shuffled around, who could blame him?) but give him constant scratches and a bit of patience and youll discover a devoted companion with a constant purr and a serious talent for biscuit-making. He loves feather toys, balls, ribbons, and his beloved ball tower, and hell even brush himself if you thoughtfully leave a brush nearby. He’s a ground cat and prefers his safe spaces to be low burrows and hidey holes as opposed to tall cat trees and shelves. True to his affectionate nature, Saint is wonderfully tactile and will sweetly reach out to hold hands. He’s also a smart, communicative boy who appreciates honesty (sneak attacks and grabs scare him and hell sulk afterwards) Show him whats going on, negotiate and hell do his best to reward you with trust and cooperation.
