Closed for the Season!

I was going to let it ride for a couple more weeks to squeeze out a few more blooms. However 1 visitor made it a point to complain over the weekend that they had been frosted and wasn't worth paying for, so I'm over it lol. Obviously they're not perfect, we've had frost 3 nights now! That's also why it's heavily discounted and I said "if you can find some good ones". But no, instead interrupt my husband while we were in the middle of an obvious project. Sometimes people need to be a little more self aware. I put in literally hundreds of hours and dollars throughout the entire year to make this possible. I still get people that come out to take photos only and don't bother to leave any compensation, but I don't say anything. I do it all because it makes my heart happy to see repeat customers, get little notes of thanks written in my money box, and the smiles and words of praise from a newbie!
I thought really hard about no longer putting in all the work next year. I definitely am not making anything after all my time is considered. I don't think some realize all the work dahlias require as an annual in our zone.
Anywho, enough venting for today! Sorry about that lol.

Good news! It wasn't a hard enough breeze to do much damage. So flowers are still standing for the time being. Take advantage of this end of season discount, $10 for any size vase you want to bring of your own to fill!! Signs will be coming down in the near future. I have many many hours ahead of me of cutting back plants, digging up clumps, and dividing all the tubers and putting them to bed for the winter. I hope everybody enjoyed this year's flowers! Hopefully we'll see you again next year!!

Dahlias aren't producing much yet, but there are a bunch of pretty zinnias and miscellaneous! Hopefully I'll have everything set up by this weekend.
Remember to watch for the signs, when they're up - we're open! 😁💐

Good morning! I'm terrible with social media but figured an update is due! It was a late starting spring. Wet wet wet and w**d filled summer. Definitely been struggling to keep up! It's looking like late July for opening up the you pick. Signs will go up when the time comes!
In the meantime if you'd like to bring the family out to see the animals please reach out and we can schedule something! There will be a couple new additions this year! Looking forward to seeing everyone💐🩵
