I used to think adding another dog to our home would somehow bring balance, like love multiplies but chaos stays the same, and now I laugh at how naive that was because this house is loud, covered in fur, constantly in motion, and somehow still the safest place in the world to me. My old worries don’t stand a chance against the daily circus of feeding schedules, tangled leashes, stolen socks, and the way they all fight for the same spot on my lap like I only have one heart to give. I’m tired, my floors are never clean, and my bank account whimpers sometimes, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade this beautiful madness for a quiet life ever again 😂
