Month delayed update...

I've been extra quiet on social media for many reasons. The last 6 months have been rough to put it lightly. There have been numerous 2 and 4 legged passings on both sides of the family with many being unexpected. My grandparents health is failing (they are 90 and 88, which is amazing) and my mother and I have been traveling a lot to help them out. We suddenly lost my 13 year old girl Rocket (last of my original bunny crew) in February and then our gorgeous big boy Butters 3 weeks after Rocket and the morning of my son's 5th birthday party (mid March). In between Rocket and Butters passing my father had a stroke. Don't get me started on the public school system and having a neurodivergent kid....

This all being said, I'm still here, filling your orders but processing times are longer than they used to be, generally still within the 2 weeks. My drive to be creative and design new toys has plummeted. Not having any bunnies in the house for the first time in over 13 years is depressing. Things are getting better and starting to "normalize" a bit.

Will I be getting bunnies again? Yes of course! The worldwide bunny distribution system started giving hints about a week ago.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support during these times. Hopefully I will turn to social media on a more regular basis here in the near future 💕

There is no good or bad side with Butters, just a handsome badass pirate!

Still waiting on histopathology results but everything is healing well and he is back to being the household menace.

Butters Update.

A few months ago we started noticing Butters' right eye and the 3rd eyelid would protrude only when eating his greens. It didn't seem to bother him, so we continued to monitor it for a few weeks until his vet appointment. Sadly, x-rays confirmed what we had feared, a nice big mass behind his right eye. To help plan the surgery, we did a CT scan to confirm there are no other masses and we would be able to remove the mass without having to perform an extremely invasive surgery.

So what does this all mean? Butters will become a pirate as we will need to remove his right eye to remove the mass. At this time we do not know if the mass is an abscess, benign or malignant tumor. Surgery is scheduled in less than a week.

Super excited to introduce our Holiday Stocking! A custom laser cut cardboard stocking with a palm fringe, pomegranate flavored sola ball, birch wood snowflake. There is 0.5" of space between the boards which means plenty of room to stuff your fur babies stocking with their favorite treats!

Join me at Midwest Bunfest October 26th 12:30-1pm for a playmat/toy workshop! I will help guide you in building your own custom playmat, teaching you all the tips, tricks and answering any questions.

All proceeds are donated to Ohio House Rabbit Rescue!
